Jabra Evolve2 65

We looked into the evolve2 65 and after having some issues with the device configuration out of the jabra direct 2.0 software, we talked to the Jabra support. They told us that the software requires an internet connection to work properly. I can confirm that once we established the connection outside our company network, the tool was working.

I bought the Jabra evolve2 65 headset explicitly because it was advertised as being a class 1 Bluetooth device with longer range. Admittedly, the headset is clearly capable of better tx/rx than a standard class 2 Bluetooth device. The problem is they only support terrible encodings, and the dongle they ship with the headset is, I'm pretty sure, a class 2 Bluetooth antenna (though I've never gotten them to admit this, support always hides behind the bullshit excuse of "max ranges are not guaranteed" despite the fact that their product demonstrably underperforms relative to other products which advertise much shorter ranges). Moral of this story is don't buy Jabra unless you like monster cable levels of markup for Comcast levels of support and avoid them like the plague of you care at all about performance, particularly range.

The Jabra Evolve2 65 are okay professional headphones. On the plus side, they're well-built, comfortable, and offer amazing battery life. Their sound profile is fairly well-balanced and versatile enough for hearing people clearly on phone calls and listening to music

I was already pretty mad when I found out my 2 month old 700s actually have a newer version with a battery pack built inside the carry case. I’ve had random disconnects and voice going in and out on teams and just convinced to buy Jabra Evolve2 65s but finding out a solution exists with Bose and they simply won’t honour their existing customers sucks big time. Never buying Bose again.

At times, the voice gets super low and slow almost like a record player slowing down. Or I sound like a robot. I am using the included link380 connector and my evolve2 65. Between this and the "mic noise cancelling being terrible" issue, I am having no luck with this head set and am looking to replace it.

When you listen to music only, Evolve2 65 is in music mode which supports audio from 20Hz-20.000Hz.
