Hi! I'm currently looking into getting a 6-string  "shred guitar" that has 24 frets and double locking tremolo. For the neck profile, I would like the back of the neck to be flat; similar to a classical's. I would like a significantly flatter radius than 12" and have the back of the neck to be unpainted. Lastly, I would like the neck to be thinner than a 60s Les Paul.(I'm coming from an Epiphone with a 60s SlimTaper D neck profile)

So far the only guitars I've seen as "eligible" are Ibanez Prestiges and Genesis series with the Super Wizard HP necks. I've heard that Ibanez necks are flat and thin which are things that I'm currently looking for in a new guitar. What are your thoughts on these guitars in terms of similarity to classical necks and overall experience?

Hey, I got 2000£ from my mom as a present, originally she was supposed to buy me a guitar but she didn’t know what to buy so she gave me money instead, so I could buy what I wanted. The problem is I don’t really know what’s good and what isn’t as I’ve only owned 1 electric guitar witch I didn’t buy myself. So if anyone has some advice as in what I should look for when buying a guitar that would be great. Also My amplifier is in a pretty bad shape, so I was thinking about buying a new one if anyone could give me some recommendations?

I just picked up this Jackson soloist, which has a floyd and it's amazing. The big thing with Floyd Rose systems is if they are in good shape and not cheaply made, your guitar won't go out of tune easily.

So i have a bit of a request, i am a beginner and got the most basic cheapest electric guitar for a starter i believe it is a Epiphone Les Paul Junior, a basic one and i really like it, it does not have the whammy bar and i am slowly learning and finally picking up easy songs practicing every day and i said to myself that if i stick to it for 6 months every day and improve i want to reward myself for all the hard work and persistence.

Now i dont know much about guitars so i would like to ask you to recommend me some nice electric right handed 6 string guitar that would suit my beginner's needs but also might be a solid pick for the future.

so i will definitely look at this personally how they feel, i want the one with the thinner neck and smaller frets due to my small stretch!

Hey guys! I’m looking to buy a new guitar around 500 bucks, and I know enough like to not but a piece of crap, but the whole thing of “do not but les pauls built in x year” or “korean made x brand guitars suck” is something I’m definitely not aware of. 

I really love Fender’s Jazzmaster and Jaguar but probably can only afford the Squier version with 500 bucks. Also love a good ‘ol Tele. I know there are other brands making awesome guitars like Prs and Yamaha but I only kind of know about Fender, so that’s why I come looking for help.

Ps: I have a Strat Squier Affinity HSS which I love but it has intonation and actions problems which I’m just tired of, I want a guitar with which I don’t have to bother with this again!!

I've done that but then eventually realized that's a sign to sell it. I personally tend to play my Les Paul Traditional Pro the most at home since its the most comfortable and versatile guitar I own, but when I go out to jam/perform/practice with others I only ever take my Tele or my new PRS as they're a bit less expensive and I feel less stressed when taking them outside the safety of my home than I do with my Gibson.

Hey guys, I was wondering what my second electric guitar should be. I currently have a Squier bullet Stratocaster that has 3 single coils. From the research I have done, some websites say that a guitar with a Humbucker is generally the next option especially if you want to play rock (not saying you can't play that with single coil guitars). Furthermore, given that I play rhythm guitar, Humbuckers have a darker tone I heard and so would suit this more.

In short, can someone tell me if this line of thinking is correct and if so what electric guitar (with humbucker) I should get. I will try and get a 2nd hand guitar or one that's on sale; as long as its not overly expensive (as it'll only be my second guitar), please provide me with a list. I know PRS does some good ones.
