The JASHEN V16 is among the best vacuums for dog hair at a budget-friendly price point that we've tested. If you don't mind its back-to-basics design, which lacks the automatic power adjustment feature found on pricier models like the Tineco PURE ONE S11, and can put up with a flimsier-feeling plastic body than the Samsung Jet 60, it delivers a superb hair-cleaning capability for an affordable price. It has separate brushrolls for cleaning bare floors and carpets, and both are pretty easy to clean. Unusually for a vacuum in this price bracket, it also has a HEPA filter to help seal in allergens as you clean.

This vacuum's maximum runtime of about 40 minutes is on the shorter end of the scale, though you can keep tabs on runtime with the LED display at the back of its removable battery. Want a longer runtime? The Wyze Cordless Vacuum is a worthy alternative, though it comes with a limited set of attachments with no miniature turbo brush included in the box.

If you're on a budget, the best vacuum for hair is the JASHEN V16. It struggles a lot more with larger debris than the pricier Tineco PURE ONE S11, but it still does a fantastic job sucking up hair at an even more affordable price point. Seems solid, heavier than my Dyson was. Was delighted that the battery was charged when I got it, could try it out right away. Has 3 suction speeds, and the lowest works fine for pet hair and litter, mostly what I needed it for. Will give an update before the month is over

 I've had Dyson for 3 years and never had to remove or clean the beater bar a single time. I thought the Jasheen would be a fine vacuum for the back of the house, but I think I will just recharge my Dyson and go on using it for the whole house, morning and evening. Bye bye Jasheen. If you have a non-pet household, this is a fine vacuum, just not for me

 It sucks-up well enough to feel confident that any guests would think the floor was immaculate, but we also don't have a heavy dirt load (no kids, tiny dog, not a lot of stuff being tracked in) and we have tile that has enough "color variations" in it to hide dirt.  It's hard to imagine this being very effective on carpeting unless you're doing a quick, superficial cleaning on really low, tight pile.  I like how the charging system will auto-shut-off the unit when its fully charged, and it has a very good indicator of charging activity while it's being charged.  As far as value goes, I think a good backpack vacuum with a maneuverable hard-service wand would be far better, but if you already keep a relatively clean home without a lot of floor traffic, this should work fine for you

 It wouldn't be a deal-breaker if I had the additional charge to go back for these spots, but I'm having to break up my charges to go back at another time to get these areas. I don't think I would repurchase this product because of the charging issue, and if you have square footage over 700 square feet I would recommend you purchase a different vacuum. I would have preferred a cord over this cordless one.

I really liked this vacuum cleaner when it worked. It actually had pretty good suction it was lightweight. But it just stopped working. I called the company and they helped me do a power reset by holding the power down for 30 seconds which got it to turn on

Dyson's was foolproof and simple but this one you have to line up perfectly or it will not "catch"
