 Are all your controls for things like plugging in guitars or microphones, or controlling the gain of the drivers, really handy things hidden in the back here behind a waterproof door, as well as a charging port on the back? Also, behind a waterproof door, the primary control buttons on the top are backlit, so you can easily find them and control this in the night. Also, this has silicone pads on each of the sides, so you can lay it horizontally and it will stay in place with stability, and you got that bulky amplifier weight to keep it held down. So it's not going nowhere. Overall, the visual design of this thing is just as loud as it sounds, and i really like what they did with the grill here

 Stand like you see a lot of pro audio speakers on so you can actually use this as a pa system like so going on that note, you can connect two quarter inch inputs for guitars or other instruments and microphones. This is also bluetooth enabled has an auxiliary input in as well as a usb input in, and i would recommend using the usb from your phone or tablet for the highest sound quality, if possible. With the jbl party box app, you can do things like control. The light settings change the volume skip tracks, control, some of the tone, features and access other features built into the party box

 All from the convenience of your phone so definitely grab that app. If you're thinking about picking up this speaker, they are made for each other. Literally and lastly, this works with jbl's tws, true wireless stereo. You get two of these bad boys and sync them up

 It does not throw out sound like a decent DJ speaker would. It lacks an EQ but that deep base along with the clarity kinda makes up for it. I bought this for our outdoor 500sqft covered patio/kitchen and it sounds awesome. I considered the soundbok but the battery recall threw me off

It has a great sound, deep base and good attributes. It's not going to be DJ speaker if you are thinking of getting it for that reason. It does not throw out sound like a decent DJ speaker would. It lacks an EQ but that deep base along with the clarity kinda makes up for it

It brings the sound you expect for the price.

. We'Ve got a mostly plastic body, with a grille on the front and they're both two feet and a quarter tall. But the 310 is a little heftier weighing in at 38.4 pounds, whereas the 300 weighs in at 35 pounds

 I absolutely love the new wheels and retractable carrying handle on the 310 because it just makes moving the speaker around a breeze. I love the new light up control panel up top and i really like that. You can now remotely control and customize the light feature on this speaker from a performance standpoint. The 310 does sound a little more open than the 300, but the 310 does get noticeably louder and pushes out more bass than the 300 all while still having a solid battery life

 Also, keep in mind that you cannot wirelessly pair a party box 310 up to any of jbl's other speakers using jbl party boost, so you can't wirelessly pair a party box 310 up to a jbl, xtreme 3 or a jbl boombox 2. it'd be cool. If you could, but you can't, however, the partybox 310 does have an audio out port, so you can get an audio cable and hook it up to any other speaker and get them to play in sync. Now, personally, i do wish that you could at least pair the party box 310 up to one other party box wirelessly, like let's say a party box on the go, but i do feel that this audio out port is at least a good compromise

Just bought a partbox 100 and am extremely let down. To the point I feel like I got a defective unit or something. No where near the bass I expected. Watching YouTube videos days prior the bass was shaking my living room, (Vizio sound at and subwoofer) however, the partybox didnt shake anything or even put a smile on my face. I even used the same songs from those YouTube test videos. Using iPhone 8plus playing through YouTube and Bluetooth, not impressed. This was right out of the box and plugged in.

I even used the same songs from those YouTube test videos. Using iPhone 8plus playing through YouTube and Bluetooth, not impressed. This was right out of the box and plugged in.</p>

Were my hopes too high?

Can’t beat the sound and especially its bass. But the battery life is only 3-4 hours played at 100%. Not worth dragging around outdoors.

Battery is horrible

 Is that input or output, i'm not sure, tws, to connecting multiple of the speakers to play together right there for two wireless stereo, then your aux input. You can daisy chain these two. So if you have multiple speakers of these ones too, you have an in and then an out, so you can bring from one speaker to like hard wiring, it's kind of like connecting all the speakers to play together, but with hardwiring your usba here to charge your Phones or anything that could use some juice, okay and then, on top here. What we have is obviously selecting what mode your speaker should be playing in

JBL PARTYBOX 310 First Impressions, Unboxing & Sound Sample | She Is BIG!

 I read that the Partybox 310 has a pretty good deep bass, but its not comparable to the soundboks in loudness. Thats why I'm thinking of buying two Partyboxes to get near the Sounboks volume level with a better low bass performance.

 Specifically higher pitched noises. The sound is crisp, and the bass is plentiful (with the option to crank it of course). Battery Life - Out of the box, using for 4 hours with my iPhone at volume 10 out of 16 and the light show on, the percentage ended at 77%. That is pretty on par with the description of the battery life that JBL gives you

 Volume - It's loud. It's so loud that having the volume at 8 of 16 on my iPhone with bass boost 1 or 2 activated would hurt my ears after being 4 feet away from it while it was pointed away from me and on the opposite side of a wall. 12 of 16 and I could hear it all the way across the Burger King that I work at, and I could faintly hear music all the way at the dumpsters outside (about 130 feet away. Keep in mind the speaker was inside and I was outside)

 This is probably the loudest speaker I've heard in a long time, if not, the loudest I've ever heard. And, yea, it still sounds nice from far away. Cons - You can seriously hurt you ears with this speaker. Of course, you'd have to have prolonged exposure at max settings

 It's just more of a warning to those of y'all that haven't had a hot and heavy speaker before that this is big Bertha but only breakfast. Cons - The speaker can be oriented in 3 ways: standing, on one side, or on the other side. The speaker is not meant to have the front facing up. Not a big deal Cons - There really is nothing major to complain about except the price, but trust me, you get what you pay for
