JBL Studio 530

For me it's the JBL Studio 530s. After wanting those super detailed cripsy highs for all these years, my priorities changed after listening to the Studio 530/570s. These things make a wonderful sound in a way that others just can't seem to produce and is just hard to explain. The other most important thing to me at least, is that they produced absolutely zero listening fatigue.

I am very thankful for the people that helped me out in my last post here, you guys helped a ton, and I ended up with the JBL 530’s. I’m thrilled with how it sounds right now. I know that it isn’t ideal to have the speakers and the turntable on the same surface but for right now I really don’t have any other options unfortunately, it’s a very small room, and I am lacking furniture. Eventually when I have more space for myself I will get some speaker stands and get these away from the wall a bit.

Quality of drivers, cabinet construction, crossover, etc. all come into play. The key is to find the speakers where the tradeoffs negatively impact the things you care less about. When I bought my speakers (JBL Studio 530) I was willing to sacrifice efficiency (because I don't need to achieve volumes > 75 - 80db) bass extension (I have a sub) and finish (they are for my basement listening room where the only visitors are my cats).
