I got a pair of JLab Go Air Pops a week ago and all I can say is I'm REALLY impressed, I've tried a ton of earbuds and my main problem is the fit, some will fall off, some will start hurting after a while, and most will get uncomfortable within less than an hour. But then I read about this model and since I wanted to give a pair as a xmas gift I thought I had to try them out first since they are extremely cheap and I thought would most likely be crap. Boy was I mistaken, they're pretty good and dare I say great for that low price. Now my history with JLab isn't the best

Holy crap - these actually sound good. 

Ive been following the industry in a professional and consumer capacity for about 7 years (pre airpods) and I’m just floored that such a solid product is available for only $20. I had a client that was involved in a Bluetooth earbud startup in 2015, they had a sweet product for the tech of the time but ultimately got beat out by Apple. The buds they were designing were huge, lasted only a couple hours and sounded whatever. But they were full Bluetooth and that was a unicorn back then. By comparison, These cheap little gas station Jlab buds are wild. Obviously they aren’t audiophile buds, but the sound is solid and they are tuned very well. Great battery life and a super small case that can fit into the coin pocket on even the tightest jeans too! These are going to be my default recommendation for earbud newbies and I expect to buy several pairs for Xmas gifts.

Just want to take a moment to appreciate how far Bluetooth earbuds have come

 In this general price range, consider the Plantronics BackBeat Go 810, the Marshall Mid Bluetooth, the less expensive Plantronics BackBeat Fit 500, or the in-ear JayBird X4. All of these models offer better audio performance, and some have higher IP ratings, making them better suited to exercise.

JLab's Flex Sport Wireless Bluetooth headphones are exercise-focused over-ears that ring in at $99. While we don't see a ton of over-ear headphones in this category, for the price, they offer merely decent audio performance and lack simple accessories like an audio cable. They don't really get anything terribly wrong, but for similar (or even less) money, there are more compelling options.

The built-in mic offers mediocre intelligibility. Using the Voice Memos app on an iPhone 6s, we could understand every word recorded, but the mic seemed to suffer waves of dropout and also have more fuzzy artifacts than is typical. We don't expect the mic's audio quality on Bluetooth headphones to be great, so this isn't a huge knock.

JLab estimates battery life to be roughly 20 hours, but your results will vary with your volume levels.

Anyone have a pair of headphones that has lasted more than 3 years?

 - I haven't noticed any issues with normal exercises at the gym or getting in or out of machines (they don't get on the way). I've jumped rope with them as well, no issues. I don't do crossfit cause reasons, so I can't comment on that. - The battery lasts a while and it tells you the level when you turn them on, I find that re-assuring as I can make a mental note to charge them later

 Enough with the "about me" section.  The Good: - The sound quality is decent and you don't have to blast them to isolate yourself from the music playing at the gym. - When you put the "tight" band on, you can run with them and they won't move, it's actually pretty liberating to know they won't move when running (for me ,they move even less than in-ear headphones I've tried) - The bluetooth connection is flawless, it just works. - They look good, not bulky, not "look at me, I'm cool" either

I had the item for just 2 months and only used them about 10 times. One day I went to the gym and when I put the headphones on the right earpiece fell off and a spring and screw flew out of them

 I babied this device and did not abuse or drop them so I was surprised that the ear piece just came off like that. It became clear to me later that the screw that held them in needs to have some sore of thread sealer applied so that the screw does not come loose.  So I contacted Amazon and there was not much they could do since the return period for the item had expired. They directed me to contact the company for warranty support

Excellent Product/Poor Warranty Support

So I want to switch to regular wireless earbuds, but I think I have smaller ears. Not the canal, but the space where the bigger part of the buds sit. With the jlabs I have pain at the back of that part, like where I've marked in red on [this picture (not me).]([URL REMOVED] should I be looking for buds that fit smaller ears or is this just something I need to learn to live with?

I've been using a pair of JLAB Active Sport buds for over a year now and am fed up with them. The sound is mediocre and they don't stay in place well even with the ear strap. Between wearing glasses and a mask, the ear strap is just overkill; I'm tired of all the stuff over my ears. 

 I've never had a problem with the bluetooth connecting. The ear cups are detachable and washable which is perfect for exercising. I can generally use them for weeks at a time off of one charge working out about an hour, an hour and a half per day. All that being said I do have a few complaints

First off these headphones sound well enough. There are definitely better sounding headphones and there are worse sounding headphones, but for working out they do the job. There is an ambient sound setting that allows outside sound to pass through so u can somewhat hear what is going on around you and it makes them sound much worse if you don't know it is turned on, but the setting is useful if you need to be able to hear a little bit like running where there are a lot of cars. In the exercise department they have worked well for me lifting, running, jump roping etc

They're okay, there are better products for the price.

Well when I put these in, it feels like no matter how high you have the noise cancelling level at, you can still "hear" and feel the impact of the guns hitting the floor. It's like "aware" mode never goes off or something. When my coworker started back up on the jackhammer it felt like the buds picked up the noise and the buds ended up "thumping" in my ear. I don't understand it because I had some JLab Sport earbuds and they didn't even do that

 Instead of enjoying your music all you can hear in the background is a rattling noise. It is absolutely terrible!!! I am hoping that this is just an issue with my pair and not a flaw in the product. The Right ear side there is no issue or rattle. I will update this post if I receive another pair and they work fine

I love the fact that they have a piece that you can insert to make them have a tighter grip so they don't move while they are on your head. These are the only headphones I have ever seen that offer this and it is an awesome feature! I also really enjoyed the optional sweat band that comes with it! The sound quality is good, no great, but definitely no complaints for the price point. I have only had them for a week so I can't comment on the battery life but no issues yet. They look great and they come with a nice soft carrying pouch
