I've demoed many boards and it's still probably the one I can have most fun on all around, including good performance in powder and trees if sized correctly. Certainly can handle aggressive riding but isn't a damp bomber like the Flagship. I'm intrigued by the Stratos and Aviator 2.0 from the Jones line... these might be viable for your needs as well.

- Jones Aviator 2.0 / Flagship / Ultra Flagship. - Arbor Annex / Bryan Iguchi Pro. The Jones/Arbor boards have a little 3D shaping to easy edge transitions and helps a little in Pow.. while remaining Camber dominant. Jones and Arbor boards also have sidecut disruptions/bumps to help with edge hold in firmer condition, but not as aggressive bumps as Magnetraction.

I rode a 2019 version… and it was quite forgettable imo. It’s a snowboard that does snowboard things, but nothing about the shape/sidecut really stood out to me. That year I went with the “old” Aviator, and had more fun popping and carving off that over the FA. For the price of a FA, can look into a Capita BSOD, Jones Aviator 2.0/Stratos, YES PYL, and those rides would have more interesting characteristics.

As a fellow Jones fan I bought the aviator 2.0 last season after tons of research and I must say I am disappointed with its (lack of) edge hold. Despite being a stiffer full camber board with traction tech it feels like it has no edge grip on less than good conditions. The tail slides out from underneath all the time and it sucks on slick steep terrain.

Love Jones boards in general cause of stiff camber dominant profile on majority of their boards. Love hard charging groomers, cat tracks, carving steeps, free ride in general. I’ve ridden flagship, mountain twin, stratos and loved the versatility of the stratos but felt like the stability of the flagship was a bit better at higher speeds. Noticed the aviator 2.0 was a stiffer version of mountain twin but had a full camber giving more stability at high charging speeds.

Great all-around board for what you're looking for. Other options: Jones Mountain Twin or Aviator 2.0, Rome Ravine, Ride Algorythm, Salomon Assassin, Capita Mercury. One of the newer trends is "volume shifting", where a board will be shorter but wider so that you can get the same surface area in a smaller package.
