Overall, it's a very solid ride, and I know who this is exactly for, and I don't think those people will have any problems with this board.

Now I know it doesn't look like your conventional all-rounder but the Stratos really does deliver over the whole mountain.

I've demoed many boards and it's still probably the one I can have most fun on all around, including good performance in powder and trees if sized correctly. Certainly can handle aggressive riding but isn't a damp bomber like the Flagship. I'm intrigued by the Stratos and Aviator 2.0 from the Jones line... these might be viable for your needs as well.

Biggest game changer board I've ever experienced. Thought I was getting a powder board, which it is, but I rode it almost every day except one off to remind myself how much I love the it, and the 2 weeks I was waiting for a replacement when I broke my Orca. Rented a Jones Stratos for that and it was dope as shit but no question I wanted that Orca back. I've been afraid of Lib since I rode a skate Banana 15 years ago and hated it but this board does everything I do almost perfect.

Off top of my head for normalish directional carver type boards: Burton Deep Thinker or Hometown Hero or Flight Attendant, Arbor Iguchi Pro or Annex or A-frame, Rome Ravine Pro, Capita BSOD or Kazu, K2 Passport, Jones Stratos, Lib Tech Dynamo or BRD, Gnu Banked Country. I wouldn't buy a Cafe Racer. At your size you probably want the 164, which has a 278 mm waist which is WIDE. Speaking from experience with a size 10 foot, the CR's doable but lot of board to move around.
