About to start my 2nd season. Looking for as much tips as possible!

 So just be prepared for your knees to take the abuse. So adding camber to this board obviously gives it more pop. It's an easy-to-engage camber profile due to the flex, but there's a lot of rebound out of it, which is surprising because it's a soft flexing board. Now, is it the snappiest board out there? No, but is it solid? Yes, and it's easy to engage

 Then it progressively stiffens up through the middle with a lot of torsional flex. This board is very playful and very lively, which means it's not the most stable. At speeds, you're going to see those tips just flapping, and all that energy is going to resonate back underfoot. Basically, you feel everything with this board when you charge, or if you're just being slow

 Alright, so this board comes in just below a middle of the Rode All Mountain Flex. What you have is way more flex, or the sweet spot, in the nose and the tail. Then it progressively stiffens up through the middle with a lot of torsional flex. This board is very playful and very lively, which means it's not the most stable

I personally am a Capita die hard, won't use anything else.  Got a 152 Asymulator and a 157 Mercury I wouldn't trade for the world, but I do have a soft spot for Lib Tech &amp; Burton.  Ride's slime wall technology is superior too.  There's just so much to choose from.

What's your #1 board brand???

So let me preface this by saying I am a complete beginner.

I have had maybe 6 or so lessons on an indoor slope (Snow Centre at Hemel Hempstead, U.K. if you’re interested) followed by a week on a mountain which was very tough but felt like I was getting somewhere by the end.

Obviously a lot of improvement comes with experience, but I want to eliminate as many barriers possible impacting my next experience.

My rental was uncomfortable as hell, felt like it caught a lot and the boots were diabolical on my feet.

What type of board is a good place to start?

How beneficial is it to get your own boots and bindings? 

Is the best action possible to find a store and speak to an expert to size me etc…? (Any recommendations for London?).

I was looking at some K2s as was reading on this very sub how smooth some of them are to link turns, not catch. Etc…. But there are different shapes and types on their site.

I’d simply want to have a comfortable board built for powder, groomers and turning.

Need help in improving snowboarding. I feel, there are lot of things wrong. For e.g. in steep lines (a) scared to go fast (b) Make fluid turns (c) feel some jerk/stop while initiating turns. I snowboard in a region where there are no coach and hence requesting help from you.
