Definitely suited for more than if you're just a solo coffee drinker. So in the box and then out of the plastic and it's beautiful.

For the Kalita, though, I pour boiling water in a spiral with exactly 12 rotations. As I wait for that water to draw down, heating the dripper and removing unpleasant paper flavors from the filter, I return to my counter preparation, my tongue moistened by the anticipatory salivation triggered by the enticing aroma of the grounds and the slight twinge of pain from removing an eyebrow hair (with tweezers, of course--they're essential, and not a tool you want to scrimp on!).

I recently bought a Kalita Wave 185, and besides the very first cup I made, all of the other ones have been terrible, even undrinkable. I've probably brewed 20 cups with it and they've all been pretty bad.
