When it comes to cost vs. quality, the Kelty Wireless 6 strikes an outstanding balance. Our recorded setup time with two people takes just over 6 minutes, and it is one of the easier tents to set up with just one person, thanks to the unique poll sleeves found on each corner of the tent that keep poles in place better than your traditional pin or slot. When set up without the rain fly on, the entire upper half of the dome is airy mesh, while the opaque bottom half of the walls provides the perfect amount of privacy. We love the dual entry design, and small vestibules on each side of the tent offer a little more storage.
However, the vestibules are pretty small and not optimal for afternoon hangouts or for people to be in at all. They are better suited for pets or extra backpacks. Inside the tent, there are only a few pockets, and we are a bit suspicious of the sturdiness of the mesh. My husband works at REI and he’s interested in this style. Apparently the Kelty, Deuter, and Osprey ones are all super high quality.

I am getting overwhelmed with all the bells and whistles of tents: **type of poles, double lined, footprint**...

I have had 2 person Coleman Tents as well a 2 person unknown brand tent I had for years. I liked Coleman but would like something a **little more hardy** to combat the 90s-100 degree summer heat and 40 degree nights and winds. (my Coleman got tore up with 15mpr winds). I **exclusively do car-camping** and have only camped Spring, Summer, Fall (to October). I live and camp in **California.**  I need a larger tent, so I can maybe put a chair inside.

**Here is what I need:**

a **3-4 person tent** preferably **light weigh or compact that I can stand up in. I** am only 5 ft. tall. I often **car-pool with my sister so compactness is a positive.** Besides, we vowed to downsize on our equipment. As I camp in Meetup groups, **privacy would be nice. I noticed there is no privacy without the rain fly. My budget is maximum $200 depending on all of these deals..**
