 If you're interested in understanding the differences between sound bars and sound systems, check out this video I did with Dts on them. [Music] You.

 Coming in at just under three inches tall, The Cinema 400 is designed to be unobtrusive on your entertainment stand and take up very little space on a wall. If you decide to utilize the mounting kit that comes with it, reflex subwoofer that accompanies the sound bar is eight inches in diameter and packs a pretty decent little punch. Don't worry about it being wireless. not only does this enhance the convenience of setup and decrease the wire clutter, but Clips provides great signal to it to ensure you're getting some good thumbs out of it

 The downside to this is that there's no Dts built-in decoding, so unfortunately, if you're a massive Dts fan, you're not going to get the full Dts codec treatment from this unit. The Cinema 400 does come with this nice little remote that you can use for it, or you can be more traditional and press on the light up buttons on the top right of the bar itself. The remote does allow you to go into some settings that adjust a couple of things like the listening modes, input selection, and base level independently. One of the listening modes Clip outfits this thing with is a dialog mode

I am lucky enough to have a separate room strictly to game in.  I picked up a Samsung HW-A650 (3.1) connected to eARC  for the PS5 am not happy with it.  It sounds alright when I tested it with streaming a movie, but bass is basically absent on PS5. I don't want something boomy though and already tried setting subwoofer to the max setting but it sounds like there is no subwoofer present when I go to play. My budget is around $500. I have an LG OLED and AVR in the living room that I use for everything but gaming so I don't want to spend more  than $500 but I am somewhat flexible. I think another Samsung soundbar would be perfect to pair with the QN90A but which one? I bought it at Best Buy with a gift card and reward credits so I am limited to what they have. I could really use some suggestions.

PS5, Samsung QN90A Which SB?

 Clearly they didn't do any user testing to realize they need to store this value. The other bug I've found occurs when the soundbar is turned off while it is receiving audio from the optical connection. As it is turned off you hear a digital blip sound. When it is turned back on the woofer will be at maximum volume even though it wasn't set that way

  The auto turn-off is a very annoying "feature" and I'm disappointed that it can't be disabled. It was a poor decision to implement auto-turn off without a special button sequence that allows disabling it. In my setup I'm using the optical output from my Samsung TV that doesn't have HDMI ARC. After around 15 mins of a show being paused the sound bar will turn off

I find this product to be poorly developed, rushed to market, without proper quality testing. I specifically bought a name brand soundbar to avoid those problems that you come to expect with a no name electronics device

Decent sound but not without flaws and bugs

 So the Cinema 600 basically has a much longer soundbar. Now there are other features of course that are in the Cinema 600 that is not in the Cinema 400, but we'll go through that later now. First of all, let's talk about the unboxing now in the box. Obviously, you get the soundbar, you get the subwoofer

 It's sort of supposed to be hidden in the corner and not get any attention. And it definitely does that with the subwoofer. Um, the cone and the driver are actually pointing downwards. not forward, not backwards

 Uh, so I can actually imagine how a longer soundbar would actually fit that Tv mode. But yeah, after testing out the Cinema 400, I can. I can see and I can understand why a larger Samba would be suited to a larger Tv. But of course I don't have the Cinema 600 here for review

 Now, the soundbar, just like the subwoofer, is quite subdued in terms of the design, but honestly, a lot of sound bars tend to be very plain looking and this is quite simple. But I love that signature Eclipse horn on the left and on the right. It just makes everything look really classy. Now in terms of control, obviously you get a remote with your options to increase the volume, but also independently increase and decrease the subwoofer, so that's pretty cool

I come from the high end home theatre world and has a spare JL Audio F113 subwoofer for my bedroom setup. I want the best soundbar but find that most of them don’t allow connection to an off-brand sound bar except the Sennheiser Ambeo. Any suggestions?

Looking for a soundbar that can connect to any subwoofer

 (And, knowing if you have the "dialog" mode on or off -- no indicator that I find on the front).  So, good, but probably not the best. Compared to other seemingly similarly priced models, probably well priced, and the sub woofer is great.

 My TV's HDMI port was occupied by chromecast, which forced me to go look for an optical cable (about $20, not included) and you need to look carefully to get the right kind. (I think there is one w/different end designs, and this one needs the same socket at each end. I did easily find one a Walmart.)  Switching between the tv, or bluetooth is easy once you find it

 It was on sale, and I bit. The sub woofer is very good. Large (and larger than the sound bar itself might deserve) and very good sounding.  The bar itself is a bit tinny and there are no controls to equalize the sound

Some of the models I’ve read about work great when Dolby audio is passed through, but don’t provide true 5.1 audio. Since this is the majority of content available, I’d prefer not to have a poor 5.1 experience. 

I’ve read things about changing the ARC to auto to solve, but this in turn creates lesser audio quality.  Not sure if it’s possible to avoid or not.

Systems: XSX (primary for movies), PS5, Switch.

Budget for soundbar: $1k-$2k usd

Looking for a great soundbar to pair with my LG CX. I’ve checked rtings.com already.

 That requires a reset to fix which is hard to do if the top of the bar is flush with the bottom of the TV. When it works properly it sounds great on surround mode but you will need to do frequent resets. Also, forgot to mention that the remote also stopped working but worked again after a factory reset. Really needs better firmware

 The bar turns itself on by itself. Based on other reviews Klipsch is blaming it on the TV but my JBL never did that. Also, getting a loud crackle when turning off (until it turns itself back on). And finally, the second wired sub makes noises when the bar is supposedly off

 The two horns add a brightness and clarity to the sound. It makes dialog easier to understand. The bass is also very good though I'm running two subwoofers (one wired and the wireless one)0. Needless to say I have plenty of bass and the included sub is plenty strong and adjustable for sound output

Better than average

I'd recommend Klipsch cinema 600 for that price range. You can buy the surrounds or add them later as well.

Recommendations for soundbar

 While watching a movie, the sound would randomly drone out for a few seconds and then return to normal. I returned this item the day that it just shut off on it's own for no reason while watching a movie. I pressed the power button and it turned right back on. I do not understand why it shut off
