This is how you're going to prevent the drill from accidentally doing that. Now, if you're dealing with a larger fastener like a large lag screw, you of course would rotate that up higher and then when it reaches a certain threshold, it will automatically kill power to prevent overdriving

Kobalt 24-Volt Max Brushless Cordless Drill Review - BEST AFFORDABLE CORDLESS DRILL

 Have used it to power a flexible drain auger. Light enough to carry around easily, but looks like it's tough enough to stand some abuse. The supplied battery lasts for ages before recharging, which itself is pretty quick, and I love the on-battery charge indicator. Night and day comparison to the B&D drill it replaced, which had NiCad batteries needing regular replacement
