In testing, I projected content from a USB thumb drive, as well as over an HDMI connection from my computer. I viewed a number of video clips from among our normal selection. Image quality is typical of an LED-based DLP projector of modest brightness&mdash;that is to say, fine for casual video watching, but not up to the standards of videophiles.

Read it first because it has nothing to do with the seller not being nice or the product not connecting to the home wifi. Things like that have zero to do with the product itself IMO. Not connecting to your home wifi may or may not have anything to do with the product. My assumption is generally that "it doesn't work on my wifi" really means "i'm a techno-novice and i couldn't figure out how to add it to my wifi"

 You'll generally get about 1/2 an hour of use on battery only. We had hopes of taking it on camping trips to watch scary movies in the woods. What a bummer that was. Plan on keeping it plugged in most of the time for everyday use, like watching movies and the like

Pretty good, but hasn’t held up to everyday rigors

350 review:  Good: For the price and size, it has a decent picture and brightness. It can project a large screen (100+ inches) with about 6-8 feet distance from screen. Video is smooth! Brightness is good enough in dark room to enjoy a movie. Picture quality is good with a hdmi device

 Using the app and android, you can definitely see there is a lag between sound and video (not much to be distracting but you can see it if you focus really hard). I gave up on the app. I use a google chromecast and there’s absolutely no lag, BUT YOU CAN’T USE BLUTOOTH IF YOU’RE USING AN HDMI CONNECTION!!!! With HDMI, you’re stuck with the Headphone jack audio output which is okay but not as powerful as sound from blutooth using the app. I connect an external blutooth speaker and it just blows that I can’t use blutooth if I’m using an HDMI

Potential is good, few add ons to make it work.  Quality is good.  Functionality is POOR.  350 size.

 You’ll need a separate speaker because the one inside the device is terrible. It took a minute to hook up the speaker or just overall set up the device because of a lack of a remote. You can download an app on your phone to use as a remote but you’ll have to go through installing it first w/out it and it’s terrible. App isn’t that great as well but I’ll just normally use my phone and stream to it so wouldn’t really have a need to use it much

 Battery life is about two hours and the device does run hot if it’s plugged in and is noisy so be ready for that. Overall it’s ok but I don’t know if I really would recommend it and suggest investing on something that would be more expensive maybe and built better. It is small and very portable but again. Only lasts 2 hours it’ll only last you 2 hours if you plan on taking it out which isn’t really much at all

Great Hardware, CRAPPY Software

 But I’m upgrading the fire stick to the one with tv controls so that I can control the echo dot’s volume that I’m streaming to. The apps on the projector installed, updated and work fine. The controls take a little getting use to. The only thing that really let me down was the image quality when using the internal apps

 It should have a better wifi card. The image is 20 to 30 % better when using a fire stick lite. And it also buffers almost to the annoying point. I’m keeping it

Great form factor, dismal UI/UX, underperforming specs.

 The picture quality is sharp but the colors are a bit off. Reds are washed out, it isn't horrible but it is noticeable when something that should be bright red is being shown. The projector feels like it is of quality. Not being able to power it on remotely, or use the interface properly are things I didn't think I should have looked for
