I was hoping for something like the restaurant grade chopsticks I used in Japan. Those were hexagon shaped on the hand end and relatively sharp on the food end. But the square shape of the these chopsticks makes them awkward to hold and the large blunt ends do not allow for precision gripping of small items. The melamine material was also relatively slippery

 Do not buy these for your household. There are much better quality chopsticks for around the same price.

 The chopsticks themselves are super thick which makes it difficult to use them since the handle is square. It is difficult picking up food since the tip is thick with no rings to help grip food. Chopsticks are damaged. Poor manufacturing. Bad quality.

They are too thick their rectangle and extremely slippery I have to put alcohol on my hands before I can use them to keep them from slipping and they do not fit correctly in your hands.  I should have went to one of the local Chinese restaurants and pick up several free pairs of chopsticks at no cost at all.

Sometimes the price is too good to be true.

5 stars if I could. My only slight complaint is that they're a little thinner than others that we have. But these are so durable. We throw them in the top rack of the dishwasher and use then regularly

Good, strong chopsticks. Actually prefer the weight and feel of these over the wooden ones I get through takeout joints. Only downside is when you clean them they look a little off from the unused in their presentation. Not a dealbreaker
