 I have decided to try this product because it's SPF 50 and the texture is not heavy at all. Those who have oily skin like me can understand how hard it is to find good sunscreen that will make you even greasier and wouldn't cause you any breakouts. For those with oily skin it is recommended to use sunscreens not higher than SPF 30 because usually the higher SPF the heavier product is and it's more likely that you will get pimples. I'm not sure how Laroche Passe managed to make this sunscreen SPF 50 and so light in texture but I'm not an expert

 I'm gonna quickly show you the texture how it looks on my hands but first what you have to do is to shake it well because it's Shaka Fluid. Okay let's try. The texture is very liquidy and I would say it's even lighter than a moisturizer and when you start rubbing you can see that white color disappearing and after a couple of minutes it would just go into your skin and it's just impossible to see that you have a sunscreen on. So this sunscreen is waterproof, sweat proof and sand proof

 First of all just look at the size of this bottle. So this bottle is about this bottle. It's tiny and it's not even filled up to the top. Okay I understand that you have to leave some space in the bottle for shaking and that all of the ingredients would be able to mix up together but still you have to pay almost 18 pounds for a drugstore sunscreen

 I'm not sure how much I need to put on to get the full 30 SPF claim, but something is better than none, especially if it doesn't sting.  This product left a little white-ish cast (I wish I would've tried their mineral sunblock with color, maybe mineral would've been more helpful to my skin?), but the white cast wasn't THAT bad, especially if you're using foundation over it (I have medium skin with golden-olive-yellow in undertones).

I was hoping this would be the holy grail but....

 The La Roche-Posay Anthelia's Ultra Light Invisible Fluid SPF 50 was an oily skin favorite for many years and convinced with a really high PPD rating of 46. As a quick recap, PPD or the PA rating tells you the amount of protection against UVA you will get, meaning how well you are protected against pigmentation amongst other things. You can imagine it caused quite a stir in the sunscreen community when it was announced it would get reformulated. Well, let's discuss the new La Roche-Posay Anthelia's UV-Immune 400 Invisible Fluid, apparently with even better UVA protection

 It does feel a little heavier than others, but that is the price you pay for it not disappearing at the first drop of a sweat.  You did get that with the previous one as well, but apparently it was weak in the long way UVA part, ranging from 360-400 nm, and that is what they wanted to strengthen with the addition of Maxorule 400A. If that was really necessary or just a clever marketing move, I can't say, there is only so much you can read out of ingredient lists. Additional ingredients with potential skin benefits are Glycerin and potentially Vitamin E as antioxidant, although I think it is more used for preservation here. There is a fragrance and a fragrance free version, so make sure to check the label which one you are buying if that is of concern to you, and the tinted version obviously has some added colorants

I like this sunscreen

 For some reason, I was expecting a less shiny and greasy formula, but still, thinking about how high the UVA protection on this one is, it looks pretty nice, in my opinion, because with that high UVA protection comes the shine and the greasiness, and you cannot have it all, I guess. I feel like some people would actually enjoy this kind of glow, but that's how it looks like. It doesn't change in like five to 10 minutes. It doesn't get more matte or more shiny

 It is annoying, though. I just wanted to mention that. So, nice packaging, not the most convenient. I prefer the pump bottles from the hydrating cream

 It looks really cool. When it comes to price, there's a very wide range. You can buy this for $12 up to $25 or even more than that. So, yeah, make sure you find a good deal for this one, because it's pretty tiny

 Great protection. We don't know the specific UVA protection for this one. The previous version had a UVA protection of 46, which is extremely high. I would say this one should have the same UVA protection, if not even higher, because it has a new filter and actually two more filters

I have naturally oily skin, even though I never get acne my T zone gets oily really fast. I have tried various sunscreens before but haven't found anything that really works for my skin yet. 

Some I've tried so far:

- Garnier fluid (the Shaka dupe) - what I currently use, it's less heavy/oily than the shaka fluid but even with powder it feels like it doesn't fully set on my face

- Nivea mattifying sunscreen for the face - I loved the matte finish and it actually set, but the fatty alcohols broke me out

- La Roche posay uvmune 400 - really oily and slippery on my face :( the first layer is okay but when I add the full amount it's really shiny and heavy and can't be managed with powder on top. I would love the high protection but if it doesn't set and keeps sliding around who knows how much of the protection I am actually getting. Also noticed a yellow tint on my fair skin.

- Suncut perfect UV gel (yellow bottle) - good protection (never burned or freckled with it), not greasy at all but it was slightly tacky and doesn't work well under makeup.

I'm open to trying EU and asian brands! Since I burn easily high protection is important to me. I need the sunscreen to actually set and dry on my skin so it can actually form a consistent film, with anything that's slightly oily it feels like it's going to slide or rub off super easily. Any and all recs are appreciated

 So they actually talk about it a lot on the packaging. The UVA range itself is from 340 to 400 nanometers on the UV absorption spectrum. It's not greasy and it's actually very lightweight. So if you're like oily skin and you like a radiant glow, this could be a good option for you to check out
