 And I thought that maybe when they are making a product that is with a lower level of SPF, then they could actually make it without ethylhexyl salicylate. Because when I look at another product that they have and that I normally use, and you can see I have used it, it is this one here. And that is an SPF of 30. And that does not contain ethylhexyl salicylate

 But what I would like is something that would be an SPF of 30. So yes, just 30. And I thought that maybe when they are making a product that is with a lower level of SPF, then they could actually make it without ethylhexyl salicylate. Because when I look at another product that they have and that I normally use, and you can see I have used it, it is this one here

 But of course, La Roche-Posay they have used an ingredient in this product here and that is silica and the silica that will sort of like stem the tide of greasiness if you like to a certain degree. So I have tried this one here. My skin is not a very dry skin, it's not a very oily skin. It's kind of like it works really sort of in between

 This version is, as much as the previous one, my go-to for outdoor days or days at the beach. It is suitable to most skin types, either on its own for combination oily skin, or on top of a moisturizer for those that link to dry.  Anne, a physician passionate about skincare and well aging. Our new improved version of Anthelia's Ultra Light Invisible Fluid SPF 50. Very high UVA, UVB facial sun protection. The ultra long UVA protection they mention here is referring to the new filter Mexerule 400A, which offers protection in the up to 400nm range, where apparently the older version had a weakness in protection that led to pigmentation darkening in some people

 You did get that with the previous one as well, but apparently it was weak in the long way UVA part, ranging from 360-400 nm, and that is what they wanted to strengthen with the addition of Maxorule 400A. If that was really necessary or just a clever marketing move, I can't say, there is only so much you can read out of ingredient lists. Additional ingredients with potential skin benefits are Glycerin and potentially Vitamin E as antioxidant, although I think it is more used for preservation here. There is a fragrance and a fragrance free version, so make sure to check the label which one you are buying if that is of concern to you, and the tinted version obviously has some added colorants

 They also claim that these are tested and retested for efficacy and mildness on sensitive skin and also hyperallergenic. The claims for that specific ultra long UVA and kind of breaking down why the filter itself is really important. So they actually talk about it a lot on the packaging. The UVA range itself is from 340 to 400 nanometers on the UV absorption spectrum

 And then packaging wise, I was talking to Julien about this cause Julien hates this tube packaging. I actually don't mind it. I hate this kind of packaging for these because this formula is so runny that getting it out, I'm always worried about it dribbling everywhere and whatnot. So I'm not a huge fan of this, but obviously with these two, you want to shake them because these are super watery and you can hear there is one of those little balls just to make sure everything's nicely evenly distributed like it should be

 And that's why I'm like, is this good for dry skin? Because I'm looking at the ingredients list. There's not any like fatty alcohols. There's no caprylic capric triglyceride. There's no oils, which you normally see, especially in one of these like super high photo protection, water resistant, sweat resistant formulations
