Lacto calamine lotion for oily skin** : Bought this when I suddenly remembered that this was what my mom made me use when I was little. But didn’t work out. Felt like it didn’t get absorbed into the skin and gave my face a pink tint which I totally hated. Tried using it as a spot treatment but felt aloevera gel worked better than this for me

Feeling a little bit worked up right now as I just received my nykaa package. I am a student and always have been pro sunscreen but i bought brands like ponds, lakmé, lotus etc as they fit the budget. But recently with the entire fake spf scandal that happened few months ago, I decided to switch to “trustable” brand like neutrogena. I got the 30ml one to see how it would work for my oily skin and man its so fking small. I know !! i know i read the size and i was expecting a small tube but damn was my visualisation so bad cause this is tiny. Sunscreen is not applied in minuscule amounts like concealer then why is it so expensive?!


This really made me think, how we are basically living in times where people are shamed for not wearing sunscreen, wearing too little of it and not wearing it indoors. But bitch i cant afford it! This 30 ml tube is gonna last me 3 days if I use it liberally as i am supposed to. I sound like I’m whinnying but i guess imma stick to the ponds and the lakmes cause even if i can’t truly trust the spf, at least i can apply and reapply them without the constant fear of running out of an expensive liquid.

Best Affordable sunscreens??

I[22M] sweat a lot and on top of that I have an oily skin type as well. I started using Lacto Calamine moisturizer and sunscreen to help with this but I keep sweating even while applying. So I just stopped applying it on the forehead but applying everywhere else and sitting under a fan for some time. 

But when I drive, I usually keep the helmet cover closed, but this just makes me sweat more. Opening it basically means blackface from the vehicles because of the bumper-to-bumper traffic. 

How do I deal with this? I don't really want to apply them in the office. Do these products stay on the skin ie., are they gone when I wipe the sweat on my face with a napkin, or are they absorbed by this skin and there's no issue with wiping my face?

How to deal with sweat?

This is gonna last entire year for me WRP. 3) Lacto calamine- This product has saved my skin especially during my internship where I had to wear n95 for 8-10 hours . I had such bad breakouts and also pin point lesions due to sweat accumulation. I would keep it on like a ghin mask and it really provided hreat relief
