 You don't need a lot of product. It's a really nice hydrating formula. It's not sticky, not goopy. It's just a perfect formula, especially for a lip mask

 It leaves no color payoff whatsoever. It goes on clear and a little goes a really really long way. So because I do a really thick layer, this product lasts me at least no this product lasts me six months because I definitely go through two a year and I don't know I cannot say enough good things about this.  So one of these products, because like I said, I only use it once a day and I do do a really thick layer on my lips in the morning when I wake up. It's still on my lips. I have to kind of just remove the excess and it just leaves my lips really hydrated, really just supple. I don't know, I feel like my lips just look really healthy and nice in the morning and then when I remove it, I don't need to apply chapstick like I would normally do before using this product

Sometimes it&#39;s difficult to have realistic expectations about skincare, so let&#39;s see this as a general TMO topic! 

For me, there&#39;s two specific products:

Beauty of Joseon Dynasty Cream

The renewed version. I only read good reviews and the ingedients looked very promising. Saw a videp where someone compared it to some expensive cream (forgot which one though). I also knew I already love the Ginseng toner and Glow Serum from this same brand, so I decided to get one for myself and the packaging felt so sturdy and luxurious! Though I instantly hated the texture. It was rather goopy instead of either light or creamy. Also didn&#39;t sink into my skin at all. Even when applied (very moderatly) at night, I woke up with my skin still clammy from the cream. It didn&#39;t make any significant difference for my otherwise. On my arms it goes! 

I&#39;m from rice toner

James Welsh used to be very hyped up about this toner, so it was one of my first K-beauty experiences. Also my first experience with using a toner. For me, it didn&#39;t improve my routine. If anything, it even felt like my other products didn&#39;t sink in as well as they used to do. Thought I just didn&#39;t enjoy toners, but after switching to a different toner, everything else was well. Besides it not working for me, I also thought it was wayyy to expensive for the amount of product you get.

Which overhyped product did you personally dislike?

 I have dry skin and it’s a nice deeply moisturizing lip balm.  The packaging is really nice cr  Also, I’m not sure why people are saying that the products sold on Amazon are counterfeit. My product had a very similar serial code to one in a review insisting that they received a fake product (the batch code on mine also starts with HAL) and I was able to verify the authenticity of the product on CheckFresh and other batch code databases with no issues. I’m not sure if people realize this, but not all of a company’s products may be made in the same factory, so their batch code font and formatting can be slightly different from source to source

 That doesn’t mean it’s a knock off product. As far as I can tell, these are absolutely real, legit Laneige products.

 That said, it’s still perfectly functional. It does what I purchased it for, which is moisturizing my lips lol. I have dry skin and it’s a nice deeply moisturizing lip balm.  The packaging is really nice cr  Also, I’m not sure why people are saying that the products sold on Amazon are counterfeit

 Some people like artificial grape, but I am unfortunately not one of those people.  It has a very mild flavor imo, so it’s not too irritating that it’s a scent/flavor that I am not partial to, but I do wish I had gone with my gut and chosen a different flavor. That said, it’s still perfectly functional. It does what I purchased it for, which is moisturizing my lips lol

 Oh, I almost forgot to mention that all of these do not have any taste to it. It is just the smell alone. But otherwise, everything applies the same way. But there's no taste whatsoever

 And in the last place we have is grapefruit. Now, this was already my least favorite in my earlier video, which I did when only three flavors were there. And this was the least favorite of all. It is still the least favorite of all

 These are for me, I like my holy grail, a right or die kind of a product. But then it may not be the same for you. And if you are a first time buyer, I would highly, highly recommend buying the mini size version first and seeing if you like it or not, if it works for you or not. And then you can maybe jump to the full size version

 BUT not only is the dry spots gone but my lips fe feel amazing! Love the light scent of vanilla. I was iffy after reading some of the reviews on here but was told about this from someone else. Which is why I had to leave a review saying it really does help! I am sure with continued use that my lips dryness will be permanently gone! I know I will never be with out this!

Tried on a whim and extremely glad I did! Works amazing! Put it on at night after washing my face and my lips felt amazing the next morning. Mind you I only had a smidge of dry skin on my lips before putting this on. BUT not only is the dry spots gone but my lips fe feel amazing! Love the light scent of vanilla. LANEIGE LIP SLEEPING MASK I Application + Review (Goodbye chapped lips?!)

The only thing that has ever worked for me is the laneige lip sleeping mask. I use it every night and it keeps my lips conditioned enough that I now usually don’t need lip balm during the day.

[skin concern] How often are you all using lip balm? I have decided to go cold turkey and this is my lips after 1 day of no Vaseline. Has anyone else stopped using lip balm and how was the process for you? Mine are extremely dry and cracked atm

 Very shiny, like I said. So I think that's about all my thoughts. Like I said, I just wouldn't repurchase it if I, once I run through it, which I hope I will, but this is another product that I feel like I have to force myself to project pan because I'm not going to use it unless I'm forcing myself to use it. Like I'm going to go and reach for something that's a stick instead, because it's just so much easier and more practical

 That was all the lip balm. It's all gone. Like all I did was kiss. There's no lip balm, none left

 As you can see, there's no color. It's just very shiny. So my thoughts, I realized over using this for several months that like it does work. It's a nice lip balm
