After reading through all the guides here, I'm stuck with a question.

I am currently using 36C bras, which matches the size recommendation by the calculator linked in the beginners guide. They're comfortable and support my breasts correctly, so I'm sure the size is right. (My measurements were 92-90-87-100-103-100 in cm-s.)

But having shallow breasts, all bras I have ever found and worn seem to exaggerate the distance between them instead of closing the gap, and I'm looking to see if there's a brand, or a shape of bra that pushes my breasts closer together instead of up and apart. I can definitely do that if I support them from the side with my hands, 10

Does such a thing even exist? If it does, how should I look for it?

 Nothing a simple bra extender won't fix to give me extra space of clasping. Due to the style cut, I should have gone another cup bigger when I ordered a cup bigger (2 cups bigger is what I should have ordered if I stayed with the correct band)..

Arrived Early

So in my last post I got the Sascha in 30C and had a floating gore and quad boobs. So I returned it. 

People suggested to get a plunge bra (keep in mind these are all push ups bras as well), so I got Abigail in 30C and Arielle in 30B as per an employees recommendation when I emailed the company for advice. 

I just got them and neither fit. Major gaping in the cups and I think the band is too loose (I can pull it out 3 inches). Here are some pics, the black is Arielle and the nude is Abigail https://imgur.com/a/Yy4nzwH

I really don't think the plunge shape is going to work for me as no plunge I've ever tried doesn't have gaping, even when the bra fits properly otherwise. But I also feel I can't completely rule these bras out if the band is too big. But I'm also going broke paying for shipping and returns to and from the US 😂

So my questions are, is it worth trying these bras again but in a different size, if so what size? Or are there any other styles from TLBC that are push up that you think I should try?

What are the best bras for shallow, wide root breasts?

30's fit like a 28

Boux Avenue Chloe lace and Lepel Fiore plunge bra are often good fits for people who liked the Panache Andorra as well.

I’m sorry if this post is a bit sad, I am getting frustrated from trying so many bras and having none of them remotely fit. 

Okay so about two years ago I ditched my 36A bras when I found this calculator, which at the time gave me a 30DD/E. I made do with 32C and D for a while, since I could find those in store, but the band stretched out so fast and became unsupportive. So my quest continued for a 30 DD. 

Since then, I went off birth control so now I measure more like a 30D/DD depending on my cycle. My measurements are: UB: 29.9, 29.1, 27.5; bust measurements: 33.5, 35, 33.9.
My shape is hard to pin down. I think I have a slightly conical shape, but fuller on the bottom with short roots. I’m also quite outer full and have puffy nipples.

So I have been to several boutiques and tried on so many bras, and basically none have fit. The only bra that did work was the panache andorra full cup in a 30DD and it made my boobs look comically triangular. Recently I also tried the missfits bra box, and have found nothing in two rounds. My conclusion from all these bras, is that any shallow bra looks weird, since I need immediate projection so my boobs shove the bra down and create empty space at the bottom of the cup. Any bra with even the tiniest bit of projection fits the bottom of my boob and then is incredibly oversized when it goes past my nipple.

Natori feathers 32D: the bra doesn’t hurt too much, but does not fit great either. Slight quadding out of the cups, but this is concealed fairly well by the lace. Bra sits below IFM, and won’t go up either, I think it’s too shallow at the wire. The wire is raised slightly underneath my boobs, and the gore digs into my sternum a bit. The band is too loose, I had to fasten it on the middle/tightest hook

Gossard superboost lace plunge bra, 28DDD: this bra is too tight in the band, making it a bit painful all around. It fits fairly well on the outside of my boobs and does not feel too shallow at the wire. The top however is way too big and I think I do not have enough tissue in the centre to fill out this bra. The gore digs in quite a bit

Skarlett Blue Siren, 30DD: This bra is the least painful out of all of them, but the fit isn’t great. The wires were once again pushed down from my IFM and there was some quadding. This bra also really flattened me

Skarlett Blue Honey, 30DD: this bra digs into my sternum with a vengeance, and is (I think) too tall in the cups. The wires are also pushed away and out from the IMF. The band is a tad too big. When I push the wires against my body, the bra fits marginally better, mainly that the top part looks less empty.

Scarlett Blue Swoon, 30DD: this bra is very painfull, the wires are digging both on the sternum and my armpit. The band feels fine. The wires are underneath my IMF and the top of the cup is empty.

Freya daisy padded half cup 30DD and b’tempted ciao bella balconette: I like both these bras, they don’t really hurt. However the cup fits up to my nipple and is then way too big, especially in the centre. I think the wires are also too wide but I’m not sure

These are some other bras that I tried but don’t fit right (not from the missfits box), maybe they will help to diagnose the problem. The wires on both of these are just right, and a smaller cup was too narrow.

Freya Offbeat side support, 30DD: this bra feels quite comfy, albeit a tad tight in the band. It fits well when I first put it on, just slightly wrinkly fabric in the cups, but if I move around a bit it wrinkles way more and starts digging into my sternum

Panache Ana, 30DD: gore digs in a bit on my sternum, superwrinkly in the cup. The wrinkling again gets worse after moving around a bit.

I’m debating whether I should try again with the missfits box and perhaps try the freya daisy and the ciao bella in a 30D. I already feel really bad for having had 2 sent to me and not actually buying anything. This process is also reinforcing the thoughts that my boobs are just misshapen and nothing will ever fit them. I’m really fine wearing bralettes all the time, but I just wanted one bra for special occasions or just for confidence. 

Sorry this became so long. I’m trying to keep my hopes up and I would love any advice pointing me in the right direction.

I’m really lost... 30DD looking for just any bra that will fit

Based on my size and breast shape, I ordered the Lepel Fiore Lace Plunge, but...it's still not feeling too great

Compared to other larger-cupped size bras I've tried on, this definitely fits the best; it's been the only bra with wide enough cups to cover everything (the sides of the cups do run into my armpits a bit.) However, it also feels so stiff, especially the underwire

So I’m kind of in tears because it’s almost seems insulting that when I put my measurements into the site, it tells me I’m a 30D cup??? Absolutely not, no way. Heck no. I’m so flat chested I look like a minor at 30. I have no breast tissue to speak of and the tiny flaps of skin on my chest are almost triangle tubes in appearance. It’s almost funny to think that I could possibly fit into a D cup. I see those bras in the stores, the cups are bigger than my head! I’ve worn C and D cups before to try and give myself curves and they’re soooo uncomfortable because there’s no…boob there to fill the cups!
