So after all of that, the lg 27 gp 950 ends up being a disappointment.

Sadly, the reflection handling is disappointing as reflections from even moderate light sources are distracting, but it still has great peak brightness if you want to use it in a room with a few lights around. If that isn't a problem for you, it's the best monitor for gaming on the PS5 that has full HDMI 2.1 bandwidth

I've been using LG 27GP950-B monitor for few days now and I'm super happy with it!. For a long time I was looking for a quality monitor mainly for my work but also for some occasional gaming.

The LG 27GP950-B is the best gaming monitor for Xbox Series X with full HDMI 2.1 bandwidth that we've tested. Although the Gigabyte M32U can still reach 4k @ 120Hz signals without issue, it still requires compression to do so, so if you want a monitor that doesn't need compression, the LG is a great choice

I confirm that this monitor does support 4k120 but only in 4:2:0 just as GB lists. I hope it's a firmware issue and not the monitors hardware limitation but for now it looks pretty good imo even with these settings. Overall, this monitor is definitely worth the money for those that are thinking about getting this monitor. HDR is mediocre but has none to minimal blacklight bleed, decent colors, and more features.

It's a great gaming monitor with an outstanding response time, wide viewing angles, and low input lag for a responsive gaming experience. It supports HDMI 2.1 bandwidth, which is great if you have an Xbox Series X or a PS5, as it supports 4k @ 120Hz gaming from those consoles

I jumped on the LG 27GP950-B when many on a tech drop discord raved about it. It seemed like a match made in heaven for being a pc gamer and someone with next gen consoles.

The best 4k 144Hz monitor with full bandwidth HDMI 2.1 inputs that we've tested is the LG 27GP950-B. It's an excellent gaming monitor with an incredibly fast response time at any refresh rate, delivering clear motion with almost no noticeable blur behind fast-moving objects

Meh, while I get the content creator angle... For the rest of us that may want a 4k 144hz monitor, something like the LG 27GP950-B $900, or Gigabyte M28U $600 or Gigabyte FI32U $1000 will be much better suited. Although just like the GPUs, those are also out of stock. Can't wait until the shortage is over!.
