I ordered a LG 34GP950G-B, and it's fantastic. It's been many years since I last had an UW.

It works pretty good in gaming though you do see noticeable blooming if theres a really bright spot in the screen. But even with the blooming i prefer it on with the default setting to off. Picture quality, color, hdr is fantastic though!.

The G9/Neo will get you 240Hz, the 34GP950G-B will get you 180Hz, and the 34GP83A-B will get you 160Hz. So, there are definitely some decent options out there if you want to step up the fresh rate. Alternatively, you could always pick up a 1440p 27" monitor. There's the Acer Predator which will do 270Hz at 1440p, and can be your secondary monitor.

The LG 34GP950G-B is a great ultrawide gaming monitor with a 34 inch IPS panel. It's part of LG's popular UltraGear lineup of gaming monitors, delivering an impressive gaming experience with an outstanding response time at the max refresh rate, fantastic low input lag, and a few extra gaming features.

There's almost no reason not to use the OLED except for FPS. The OLED's refresh rate caps out at 120hz whereas nextgen LG ultrawide panels are 180hz with potential of slight further overclocking and the Samsung G9 is 240hz. Also, not a huge difference is price, I can get the dell AW3821DW for 1530CAD+tax aka 1215USD+tax compared to 1400USD+tax. Personally, I'm waiting for the AW3421/22DW which should come out a few months after the 34GP950G-B which should be cheaper then the 38.

Very nice good looking setup. Computer Universe got this monitor in stock since yesterday. I did order mine today - 1.342,66 € sick price. Almost gave up waiting and was about to take LG UltraGear 34GN850-B and same day LG UltraGear 34GP950G-B came in stock so I finally got it.
