LG CineBeam HU810PW

Reason for both is because I would like my OLED for more casual TV viewing and video games, while I would want the projector for other TV and movies. I looked at the sidebar on this sub and found the LG HU810PW as the best projector under $3k budget. I was thinking $5k max budget (for projector + screen) but if I can shave off any price that’d be awesome (as new homes are expensive lol).

I was in this same spot looking to replace my 6 year old Sony projector with a 4K and was between the Epson 5050UB and the LG HU810PW. Ended up ordering the LG for $3K based on several factors putting in ahead for my needs, though believe that either are great options. In my case, one of the biggest factors is that in right at the edge of getting a full 100" as I'm 136" to the back wall. The LG has the advantage and should fit my full screen, where it's not a given with the Epson.

Yes you need to plan out your furniture and screen placement beforehand as it sits far and low from the wall and likely your screen will also be higher up on the wall. It looks like your basement is long enough to accommodate a traditional long throw, so you may want to consider those too. If modern features and interfaces and laser tech in USTs are appealing to you, take a look at LG HU810PW. You get better and brighter pictures with its dual lasers and you also have more freedom with your screen and furniture placement.

I found a glowing review for the LG CineBeam HU810PW but I can't find it for sale anywhere. I figured if anyone knew where to buy this, it would be you guys.
