 Quality comparisons. Lg has some new tricks up its sleeve, however, so let's check them out. The first thing i noticed when i set up the c2 for the first time was how light it is. I'Ve lifted a lot of 65-inch tvs in my years as a reviewer, and this is easily the lightest

 Those have been added this year in 2022 by a sports mode. Now what these picture modes do is that they adjust black level and brightness differently depending on the modes, and you can actually see that reflected on the screen itself. I really like this ability to tweak the picture modes depending on what game, you're playing or even to ignore what game you're playing and just see what mode looks best now, of course, with a lot of games today you can actually have picture settings built into the Game itself, so you got ta see how those two work together, but that extra layer of gaming control. I really appreciate about the game

Nice man!  Damn I can’t wait to get myself an oled or next gen tv, looks so vivid and bright.  It’s amazing how big the 65” Oled looks in your room, my crappy 65” Sony 850f led seems so much smaller in my room even though I think I sit not much further away than your room.  I thought for sure it was a 77”.  I gotta see what pricing looks like when the new c1’s come out, might have to swing for the fences and get a 77” Oled.  But then I tell myself get the 65” and move the couches a bit closer after having it wall mounted.  I think I’d probably want to upgrade to a new tv when the next gen stuff like QNED comes down to avg consumer affordability in 3-5 years, and that move would be a lot easier to swallow if I pay like ~$2500 after taxes and warranty and not like $4000+

Beautiful mate. Too funny, I’m about to buy the same tv stand on wayfair but was second guessing it due to reviews. I also just bought an LG 55” OLED about 6 months ago. A few questions if you don’t mind 

- is the TV stand solid, a bunch of reviews said it was “frail” and unforgiving if you mess up assembling. 
- how do you find dark screen issues on the OLED. I’ve found perfect settings but dark screen still frustrate me. HBO Warriors show was so bad on it. Shadowing and pixel sadness. Best show intro in surround sound at least.

The TV for you is the Sony. I would recommend bumping up to the X950h, but the X900h is still the right choice of those three. It is the best TV for motion handling and upscaling of low quality streams and cable.

The LG OLED would be my pick for gaming or HDR movies. The Samsung slightly outperforms the Sony with high quality UHD content, but if the majority of your watching is cable TV and sports specifically, then my money would but the Sony every single time.

Got the bug to upgrade from a 9 year old 55" LG around black friday.  Decided to wait until closer to the Super Bowl to make my move.  Looking for go 75".  Mostly watch tv shows and sports with occasional movies.  Hardly ever game and only system I have is xbox 360.  No plans to buy newer systems.

I've been researching and had my decision down to LG CX, Q80T or the X900H.  Budget isn't an issue but I just can't justify the price difference for the CX (nearly $1k) when compared to the other two.  Went to look at BBY and I preferred the Q80T picture quality the best so my mind was just about made up.  

But then I decided to research the 2021 Samsung models and am now wondering if I should wait.  Reading through other posts I see complaints that 2020 was not the best year for Samsung.  I can wait, my current TV is fine.  But I've got the bug...what do you guys think?  Pull the trigger on Q80T or wait for 2021 models?

I’m currently in the market for a 77” OLED. Both the A9G and CX are approximately $6500 AUD with the new 2021 OLEDs about to drop shortly.

My wife doesn’t want to go any higher than 77” and is refusing to spend anymore than 7K AUD on a TV. 

We typically watch movies (a large amount of lossless 4K with HDR) and TV shows (typically SDR blurays) as well as some Netflix.

I’m also a gamer, admittedly though I prefer single player campaign style and don’t play online so I’m not sure how big a deal HDMI 2.1 would be.

I’d be really keen to get peoples thoughts on which TV is better as I’ve found myself paralysed by choice by here.

<div class="md"><p>I’m currently in the market for a 77” OLED. Both the A9G and CX are approximately $6500 AUD with the new 2021 OLEDs about to drop shortly.</p>

<p>My wife doesn’t want to go any higher than 77” and is refusing to spend anymore than 7K AUD on a TV. </p>

<p>We typically watch movies (a large amount of lossless 4K with HDR) and TV shows (typically SDR blurays) as well as some Netflix.</p>

<p>I’m also a gamer, admittedly though I prefer single player campaign style and don’t play online so I’m not sure how big a deal HDMI 2.1 would be.</p>

<p>I’d be really keen to get peoples thoughts on which TV is better as I’ve found myself paralysed by choice by here.</p>
