what a horrible company and their support is atrocious.  the fridges are designed in a way that makes the outside seem nice and modern but they are very much intended to break RAPIDLY.  they dont honor warranties and will spend 8 weeks having you call them to check in or nothing will ever be shipped out.

I just want to say that if you are ever replacing a fridge DO NOT buy samsung

  Chris Monroe/CNET 	 	 	 	Design and features    If you asked me to draw a sketch of the prototypical bottom freezer refrigerator, it would look a lot like the LDCS24223S. It's a straightforward build that doesn't try to set itself apart with any extra design flourishes. The result is a basic-looking bottom freezer aimed more at blending in than standing out.     Bottom freezers like the LDCS24223S flip the script on the traditional top freezer build by putting the freezer down below and the fridge compartment up top

    The same can't be said for the cooling performance, though. After testing at the default, 37-degree setting, temperatures were a few degrees higher than last year throughout the near entirety of the fridge, with hot spots above 40 degrees F in some of the door shelves -- and even in both of the crisper bins.       

1 cubic feet of storage space, 16.4 of which is allocated to the fridge. That's about as big as bottom freezers get, but it's not the biggest -- the GE GDE25ESKSS edges it out thanks to an extra cubic foot or so of space in the fridge. Still, expect to find plenty of room for your groceries

  Costco offered to replace it which we considered, but then we went to a couple of appliance stores. The same model as we have, in both stores, did the same exact thing.  No other LG model we tried made that sound.  But in the end, we decided to keep it and live with the "sound" because a single (not French) door works better for us, and this is the biggest capacity model that fits into the exact space we have for it

What's that noise?

Good fridge with handles falling out.

Both 'crisper' drawers have at least a halve inch gap on top, which makes the fruit or vegetable setting ridiculous. Very poor design / manufacturing quality control.

This refrigerator was one of the very few that would fit into the space we have for it.  It was exactly the measurements that were advertised.    The wide shallow bottom drawer is not very useful to me.  It takes up otherwise valuable space

 The freezer shelves slide in and out very easily.  It would be nice if there were spaces in perhaps the door for smaller items as they get lost in the main freezer.
