Motorola Edge plus would be my recommendation. As far as I know it's the only flagship left with a headphone jack (unless the sony 1 iii keeps it), and it has great speakers and killer performance. unfortunately no SD card slot, but 256gb storage should hopefully make up for that.  you can get it at someone like Fido for $15 a month (so $360 total) - I don't think Koodo carries it. If you're dead set on Koodo, it's $999 unlocked at Costco.ca

Last year, LG introduced an alternative to folding displays in the form of a Second Display Case. Simply snap the V60 into the Second Display Case and you have access to a second 6.8-inch OLED display.&nbsp;If you&rsquo;re on AT&T or Verizon, the case automatically comes bundled with the V60

Call quality is superb. We made nearly a dozen test calls and all were crystal clear, with excellent noise cancellation. Earpiece volume peaks at 88dB, which is loud enough to hear in all but the noisiest environments.

The primary lens supports 4-by-4 pixel binning to create sharp 16MP shots. There&rsquo;s also up to 10x crop zoom, improvements to night mode, and a new 3D Tilting Photo mode that allows you to take the 3D shots you often see in your Facebook feed.

The wide-angle lens, on the other hand, doesn't hold up as well in low light. Several of our test shots show grain from noise, and nearly all are on the soft side. Subject distortion, especially near the edges of your photo, can be an issue too.

Great Phone Unnecessarily Kneecapped By LG and AT&T

Yes. It takes a fraction of a second longer (for me, for now) but it's a lot more forgiving of a wet finger than the back-of-phone scanner on my old Pixel 3a.

I like it. I've always thought front finger print sensors make more sense. You can use it in a car mount or on a table, its front and center when you are interacting with apps that use it, and it isn't affected by cases (which often partially obscure hitting the rear sensors or have a huge cutout that leads to uneven wear of the back of the device.)

The sensor isn't great on the Pixel 6 (I feel like my Oneplus 6T optical sensor was slightly better), but it's good enough. I've used phones with both and although the dedicated touch sensors (rear/power button) are faster, I think it's worth the trade-off of slightly slower for more optimal placement.

I tried Android again after a long time on iOS with a LG v60.  It used the same type of sensor under the display. I like it.  The "longer" hold needed is a benefit to me... No accidental unlocks.

I came from a Pixel 3, so initially I didn't like it compared to the back scanner. Once I got over the muscle memory, and developed new habits on how I pick up the phone it's been pretty smooth.

It's awesome. It actually works with wet hands. Could never use the finger print scanner on my Pixel 3 after washing my hands.

Not at all. Of course I'm coming from the Pixel 5. Though on its own it's not horrible, it is relatively trash in comparing to everything else. I hope they fix it.

I've transitioned from a Pixel 3 and am quite annoyed with the scanner. For me it was much more comfortable to have it in the back, but aside from that on the Pixel 3 the scan was instantaneous. On the 6 however on a good day I have to keep my finger on it for half a sec, which is annoying. On a bad day it can take my scanner 2-3 seconds which is ridiculous.
Have not had many reliability issues though. Very low % of "unidentified" messages when scanning, so at least there my experience hasn't gone downhill.

While I'm ranting though, I really don't understand why there's no option for a normal sized phone. Even the regular 6 version is huge

It is so much more consistent than my Pixel 2's. I haven't had it reject me once.

The one on my Pixel 5 was terrible - sure it was faster when it worked but it only actually worked like 50% of the time. I'll take a slow but functional fingerprint reader over a fast one that only works half the time any day. That being said if they're going to continue with under-display readers I do hope they improve the speed in future Pixels.

I just got my pixel 6 today and I like it.  Coming from a phone with rear fingerprint sensor the under display sensor works good.  Not as fast but still good.  I registered my fingerprint twice each thumb.

I don't know if I just got lucky or if I thought it would be worse from all the comments I saw about it... But the fingerprint scanner on my Pixel 6 is fast and accurate. I love it. I'm still getting used to having it on the front instead of the back though.
