2022 Lib Tech Skunk Ape Review

I’m 6’4, 265lbs. Michigan based so that means icy conditions.

I started riding again last year after 12 years off. The board I rode last year was a Flying V type which I really hate. Before my hiatus i’d consider myself an intermediate/ advanced rider.
I’m sure I want a camber board but am overwhelmed with the options today and the weight recommendations stop below my weight. 
Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

Lib Tech Skunk Ape 2020 Snowboard Rider Review - Tactics

I recently posted about my interest in one of these two boards, but I'm still undecided which should be best for me, or how the two boards differ. They are basically the exact same waist width (Skunk = 285, Stump = 284). 

I am 6'6" around 205 right now, but could get up to around 220 occasionally. My boot is about a 14/15. 

Could someone just please explain the difference between these two boards and why I should choose one over the other?

Skunk Ape 170UW vs Stump Ape 163W

Long time skier finally got a board!!

I had a PW+ but after 2 days on it the top sheet started delaminating,  I took it back to the shop and now they want to give me store credit as they can't get me another one and Bataleon say they have to destroy the board. 
I was hoping they'd just fix it as I was loving the board but that's not what Bataleon want apparently so this is the least ideal outcome for me.
So tl;dr I'm looking for alternative boards to spend my store credit on.
I'm 6"2 130kgs and a size 14 boot so prefer ultra wide stuff.
I also have a 167 Stallion as a charging board which is why I went for a party board as my 2nd.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Party Wave plus alternatives?

Looking for a board for my brother-in-law. He's been so generous to my family over the years I'd like to see if I can score him something with summer sales to surprise him with this winter. He's a big guy though so all the gear shopping I've done for my compact 150lb self doesn't seem to readily apply.

* 215 lbs
* 6'3"
* 11.5 boot
* Tons of mountain biking and lifting in the off season - he's a powerful guy, can handle a beefy board
* 20+ years of snowboarding but limited to groomers if no new snow, fucking around in trees on powder days. 
* Never rides switch, no interest in park or flat land tricks, and not exactly laying it over on deep carves. Just a cruising kind of rider.
* I'd call him solid intermediate.
* Rides exclusively in the CA Sierras, mostly Tahoe. Sometimes crusty but not the Ice Coast by a long shot. 

Turns out he overheard me talking about gear 7-8 years ago and ended up buying himself a Ride Machete. A never-switch rider on a true twin that's probably not stiff enough for him kind of bums me out lol. Anyway, looking for ideas and wondering what riders who fit the above description think. Thanks

Looking for a board for my bro

 It is a hybrid camber profile if you’re used to old school camber. The Gnu is a good option but you should probably get the 163wide.

That's me, the old guy that talks about waiting for the new Transworld snowboard video to drop on VHS... 

 My equipment is almost as old. I took a decade or so hiatus, and am looking to log some days this year. I'm out of the loop, so I'm unfamiliar with some of the brands to come on the market 

I've been lurking through the board recommendation threads, but could still use some help. 

 I'm 48, 6'1, 13 boot and 240#. Pretty good shape, I'm also the old guy in the gym a few days a week.... 

 I considered myself a capable all mountain rider back in the day and spent my time in bounds powder hunting in the trees.

 I have an eye on a GNU Banked Country in a 162, and like the looks of some of the Arbor offerings, but if you guys have any input, I'd definitely like to hear it.

I don’t go in the park at all, like trying to switch, carve and maybe do a few side hits or butters. Any board recommendations for a relative novice? We have a lot of man-made snow and icier groomers. Thx
