The inside of this tray is lined with a grippy rubber to hold your devices firmly at a nice visible angle. Right beneath the device tray, on the left side, there's a dial for switching between paired devices, so you don't have to worry about hotkeys or hard-to-find switches. Like many of the other keyboards on this list, this one also uses rubber dome switches, which make it extremely quiet to use and a great choice for bringing around on the go to libraries, coffee shops, or other quiet areas.

ConclusionThe K480 works extremely well, and it's useful and fun to switch between devices so quickly and easily. I thoroughly enjoyed typing this review using the K480 with an iPad Air and effortlessly switching to my Nexus 5 to reply to texts and Hangouts. It's not an essential piece of hardware, but for $49.99,&nbsp;it adds convenience to your digital life

4&nbsp;as part of my tests. The K480 worked flawlessly; it reconnected to each device almost instantaneously, without any fuss whatsoever. And I only experienced a minute amount of Bluetooth lag when switching between devices using the dial very quickly. And unlike most tablet keyboard covers, there's no lag while typing

Design and FeaturesSave for keys that are almost circular, and the large section above the keys where you place your mobile devices into the rubberized groove stand, the K480 looks like any regular keyboard. Just above the Esc key is a dial that lets you select the devices you've connected to the K480 via Bluetooth. They're labeled as 1, 2, or 3, which may take some getting used to until you learn by heart which number is associated to which device. But that took all of two minutes for me

 We played around with it and it worked as advertised. It's similar to previous Easy-Switch Logitech keyboards, such as the  K760  or  K810 , but the new K480 includes an integrated slot that holds phones and tablets. The keyboard comes in white or black.

 It's not what I'd use for any serious work or gaming, but for light tasks and just to have a keyboard it's more than good enough. I would've preferred if it had 2 bluetooth and an USB similar to how other Logitech devices like the Pebble mouse have it, but 3 bluetooth is good enough for the most part.  Battery life is solid enough. It's a bluetooth keyboard, it's not exactly a power hog

 I found out the hard way that my Tab 7+ was just a bit too large to fit into the groove. I didn't expect this since I don't consider it to be particularly large, but it was. An iPad Air fit in perfectly though, and if I put it in vertically I can fit other things in (though with the 7+ it was too tall and prone to tipping for my comfort).  As mentioned above, the typing experience isn't particularly nice

 This means that for further away keys you have to reach for such as backspace you'll often encounter unexpected resistance, interrupting the flow of your typing. Moreover, the weight of each key is very much uneven with various keys being much more resistant to being pushed down than others. This lack of evenness doesn't inspire much confidence in the quality of the product in general, even if my confidence in it wasn't particularly high to begin with due to the low price.  At the end of the day though, for $30, you can't demand too much

  The size and weight of this keyboard is poorly suited to carrying around with me in a bag, though the extra weight is nice for helping it sit steady. The real dealbreakers are the undersized slot and the lack of ability to adjust the height.  It's a fine and functional bluetooth keyboard. Just not one that I like

A matter of personal preference

 I've caught or readjusted it countless times. However, my tablet has also fallen to the hard floor or table multiple times because of this. This is a big design flaw because tablets can be very pricey.

Great keyboard, bad design

 It's also pretty bulky and heavy for its design and not exactly great for carrying around. I think its more to stay at home and use it for better typing when you doing those tasks on a smartphone of tablet.
