This amplifier certainly amplifies and that's nice. The sound coming through is good enough to me though I don't have anything more expensive to compare it to. However, after 6 months of owning it, one of the RCA jacks is cutting out so I have to position the cord just right to get a full sound. I believe this is in the unit because I've tested with different cables, on different devices, and switching one speaker between the 2 jacks to make sure it isn't my speakers

Powerhouse but with unacceptable hiss

 Normally I don't care about this, but it matters here because the hiss is persistent through playing sound and not. Usually, these kinds of amps have the hiss disappear with active sound playing, but not this one.  This would be a fairly ideal bookshelf amp or satellite amp, if it weren't for that hiss. I also think the posts in the back are too close to power and line

I own a lot of chip-amps from SMSL and Topping, and in the sub-100 dollar price range, the LOXJIE A10 is definitely the best one I've listened to so far. This amp shines in every way except for dynamic range, but that's a shortcoming of all chip-amps lacking capacitance, not just this one. A 'giant-killer' this is not, any decent class a/a-b amp will beat the pants off the LOXJIE A10 - but - it will cost hundreds of dollars more:) Overall this is a very good amp, and right now might be the best value in terms of cheap 'class D' chip-amps on Amazon.  Pros:  + Detailed and expressive

Very good amp, with some caveats

 No remote (which rules out a lot of uses for me), no headphone jack (which may limit its use with a computer), no sub out, only one input.  I'd also like to note that I haven't had some of the issues that others had. At this price point, and from a relatively obscure brand, I'd sort of expect some quality control issues, but mine has been great so far.

The Good: I was a little surprised at the sound quality from this little unit. After a fair amount of testing, I decided that I prefer it to to my Yamaha RX-377, which is a traditional (class A/B) amp. Yeah, the RX-377 isn't a high-end amp, and the Yamaha does a great many things while the Loxjie does only one thing, but the Loxjie does that one thing better, IMHO. This may be the world's cutest amp

 Otherwise it sounds great and plenty of power to push a pair of efficient Klipsch Towers.  Update:  Replacement unit was delivered today, all is good with the volume control alignment. So I'm tossing the issue up to quality control on the first one.  I'm running multiple inputs through and Integra preamplifier and then into the Loxjie

Mis aligned volume knob on the first unit, 2nd one is good to go.  Sound is fantastic.

 My previous desktop amp from SMSL died after 8 months. I hope this LOXJIE lasts much longer.
