The Macwheel 26-inch Electric Bike is an affordable Class 2 e-bike with a throwback cruiser style that impressed us with its distance range. In fact, it bested every other bike we tested during our range testing by going just over 21 miles without even pedaling while using the throttle only. The larger, 360Wh battery capacity helped the Macwheel go the distance, but it also seems to use that power quite efficiently. It has a retro look with a low, step-thru frame that makes it easy to mount and dismount and an extensive range of seat and handlebar adjustments to fit a wide range of user heights. It's a comfortable bike with a relaxed, upright seated position and a laid-back ride quality. The Macwheel has five pedal assist output settings and a throttle, and it has no problem reaching its top speed of 15.5 mph. It also comes equipped with user-friendly features like fenders, a rear cargo rack, and a headlight.
With a 250W rear hub motor, the Macwheel can't match the faster, more powerful competition's power output or top speeds. However, this lower power output is one of the main reasons it can travel such a long distance on a single charge. While the controls have decent ergonomics, the simple LED display shows only the most basic information and can be challenging to see in bright light conditions. Beyond that, we feel this good-looking affordable electric model is a solid option for the rider who prioritizes distance over speed.

 I'M guessing and i've only used one notch, but the thing is i've only been in one on the levels of the power, so i'm not using so too much power because when you use pedal assist in one it's just that's all. You need pretty much even up a steep hill, that's ridiculous! So it's really no need for me to use any of the higher levels, because i'm not trying to keep up with anybody or race or get anywhere fast. So i can save my battery by just using the one, and i got plenty of power. I don't have to exert any energy really i always say if you want to go fast or you need to go somewhere, quick, that's where you would want to use the higher levels, but other than that one is plenty

 Let'S go get it on the road and see what it can do all right, guys we're going to power it on right. Now you just hold this down and then it powers on it has the led screen. It shows your battery, what level you on and the power button, so it's pretty nice to have a led screen on it for this price point all right, guys off. We go, this thing is so nice, i'm on one right now and i'm going up a hill and it's effortless

 Let'S see if i can throttle up this steep sidewalk right here, that's crazy, not a problem! Man! That'S what i love about this bike. You can save so much energy because you don't need to stay in the higher level of the battery. You can stay pretty low and get a lot of and get a lot out of this bike. [, Music, ]

 So don't have to really have it go all out just speeding along this one's pretty cool because it has a light on it too. So i like that one, but it has the pad brakes which i've always had pad brakes, and i feel pretty good about this. One for her, so i was really happy to see that part and uh. It adjusts really well, i'm just gon na see if i can take a little spin here all right

 I think that's going to be really neat and it has really nice really nice shimano gears and uh. It has the the quick shift on it and it has the the electric goes all the way up to five. So don't have to really have it go all out just speeding along this one's pretty cool because it has a light on it too. I just feel better about this one, and i just love to where she likes to carry stuff too so may end up getting a saddle bag for that one um.  This isn't a bike. That'Ll turn heads and that's kind of the point. It'S stealth, appearance, won't attract any unwanted attention and just allows you to focus on riding. This is for anyone who isn't ready to drop thousands of dollars on an e-bike

 Big feels pretty good feels really smooth, it's really bright out here. So i can't really tell what my throttle is. Whoa all right, i'm shifting yeah the traditional road bike is not something that i've been used to riding, so it is sitting a little bit higher, but as far as like the acceleration, it's pretty smooth, i only have it on like level. I actually have it on level four and pedal assist is on, but yeah turning is a little bit wider, because the wheels are 26 inches so for first uh maiden voyage feeling is that it is smooth, definitely something that um feels like

 At only 700, the macwheel 26 inch fits into the budget amazon category.
