 Obviously you're sitting by the campfire in the fall or in the winter time not in the summer because that would just be fucking weird okay. But this one is a very good fragrance for those time frames but I tend to wear it whenever the fuck I feel like. Obviously I'm not wearing that ton because it's super hot down here but if I'm in a place where I know let's say I'm going to a meeting and I know it's gonna be really cold in that meeting I'll pull this out and wear it. I'm really waiting for the fall and winter to come because I can justify wearing this a little bit more but like I say man if you're in a temperature controlled environment wear what you want when you want

 This is a big big business stamp of approval god damn it because this one is fucking awesome. Now let's get into the performance on this one. This one's going to project about two to three hours and the longevity is about six to eight hours. Now this is for me more of a winter based fragrance right

 His albums never leak. These never make it to the great market. So make sure that if you're looking for it you really go out there and find it. I'll link some places below where you can get it because this is an awesome fragrance

By The Fireplace Fragrance Review | Maison Margiela Replica Men's Cologne Review

I have a couple other scents from Maison Margiela, but for this one I couldn't get past the sample bottle. It just smells straight up like cigarettes. I could get the same effect from a $10 pack of Marlboros.

Love this brand, but not this scent

I'm gonna get some heat because this fragrance is getting so much praise and circlejerkery in this sub, but: Maison Margiela By the Fireplace. It smells like Orange (zest), spices and smoke.

I admit it, in the past year I have been blind buying like crazy. Between being stuck at home many stores being closed, it’s the perfect storm. I do so much research before purchasing (honestly that’s half the fun), so I’ve mostly bought okay to really good fragrances. But I’ve had a few misses. My worst miss was Mugler Angel Fruity Fair. I’m one of those people who hates the pachouli in Angel, but all of the reviews described it as sweet and sugary with barely any pachouli. I heard Mugler was a master of gourmand so I really wanted to find a Mugler fragrance I would love. I was so wrong for taking the risk, it smelled like a dirty pachouli bomb to me no matter what all the reviews said. 

So, what was your absolute worst blind buy that you were convinced you would love?

 I heard a news anchor I admire gush about this REPLICA scent and I had a hard time imagining a perfume with a fireplace smell to it and then I got it and I’m SO GLAD!!! Think smoky with chestnuts. Cheerful blaze against winter glaze…Never worn a unisex scent either, I tend toward girly florals, but this works either way-equally alluring and homey, with a slight ember spark to it. You-and everybody else-will love♥️love this!!!!

Different scent-yet familiar comfort

I’m partial to By The Fireplace from Maison Margiela. Going to potluck with fiancés family. A lot of indoor and outdoor shuffling, feel like with be a good lingering scent.

  It is also truly an 'all day fragrance'. So don't worry about that. (No one pays a premium for a scent that fails to do its only job after 10 minutes!)

There is nothing I dislike about this scent. I wish it was cheaper, but then it would not be as good..

LOVE THIS. So addictive. This brand just crushes in my opinion.

The price for 100mls is great value too considering the quality of the scent. By the Fireplace felt like a worthwhile purchase, but Jazz Club felt like a real win.
