Ascend Sierra-2EX

A Marantz PM7000N (Tidal, Spotify, Flac & Rega P2) pushes music to them. They're detailed, fast and incredibly smooth. Both female and male vocals shine, so do horn and string instruments (trumpets sound amazing). I listen to almost every genre (except pop) and I think they're better at electronic, dub/reggae, jazz and folk - they can really bring out tracks with 'delicate' sounds.

Neverending Upgrades...

For now though, I can't recommend the Marantz PM7000N enough as an all-in-one solution. It sounds great and handles everything I've thrown at it from folk to hip-hop to shoegaze. Currently putting them through their paces with some Guru and Tribe Called Quest.

Yamaha R-N803D - timing issues?

Bottom line: it's going to be a good amp, particularly if you're using Pure Direct mode to get all the DSP stuff out of the signal path. Someone below recommended the Marantz PM7000N. That one will also be a good amp.
