That’s one of my rigs and it absolutely roars. It’s what an electric guitar is supposed to sound like, it’s what I hear when I think of the electric guitars

Personally I'm a sucker for those 70's treble boosted tones, think Blackmore, Rory Gallagher and Page.

Something about that sound just makes it so versatile, plus you can really hear the articulation of their playing with the natural character of the overdrive.

 I think that's why my ears ring all the time! LOL Over the years I sold most of my gear (which I regret). However, I started adding back those amplifiers and speaker cabinets I "gave away" over the years. I purchased two new 100 watt JCM 800 heads and I'm running each of them through their own 1960B Marshall cabs. I have to say they sound as good as my old JCM 800's I had in the eighties

Sounds as good as the original JCM 800

 that's the hundred watt head and this one still has the original filtering capacity. In the late eighties they reduced it which makes them sound not the school this as earlier eight hundreds. Now the twenty two or three in the JMP line came already in 1975 and it's a very close in circuit to the original Marshalls So it has a very classic sound, but more aggressive. So this is this is probably if you want a really classic Marshall sound and still sound really aggressive this this is the amp for you

[Question] What is a good budget Marshall Amp?

 and then I have the tone knob turned all the way up and then dial that back just a little bit too. so that way I get a little bit more of a fizzy but still some harmonic tones over the top of it. So I think running it this way is one of the most balanced out ways that I've heard it so far. I used to have that game knob turned all the way up but it would just feedback so much and I think this way just controls it a little bit better

This is a 20 - 10 model so that means it's the two-channel model with a hundred watts. This one actually has working reverb so you'll hear some of that as well. A lot of them out there these days don't and they say just the junk the unit if it's not actually working these days

 I Also, maybe if I was turned up a little bit more, I would probably dial both of those back just a little bit so that it doesn't get as muddy. but let's hear what that tone sounds like. I'll walk through again. I'll do some different variations on the pickup so you can hear what those sound like too

 that's what I was told it was when I bought it. So so let's check out that tone. We'll do some cores, maybe a couple of runs and things like that, and the different pickups as well. Marshall JCM800 2210 Amp Review

I want to buy a Marshall head that sounds like slash and dont take much space in my room (Don recommend jcm800 or silver jubilee they are out of my budget

 and this bottom row. if we change the chow, it's more like a Tc Electronics line driver, so the amplifier does not like this one. [Music] You can hear it's saturated, like it's hitting the roof pretty hard. [Music] but it makes the amplifier sound really chunky and modern

 It's the first time I'm doing Greenbacks In In the Room video and I'm really excited to hear the results for this test. I'm using a neumann Tlm 102 microphone over there. I'm using two Austrian Audio Oc 18, a little scattered out like this. There's also a stereo microphone over there and afterwards in logic I will time correct the different microphones to make them in phase

 It's a 2205 which is the 50 watt with an effects loop in it. and I have this Marshall cabinet that I recently switched out to Speakers from Eminence Legends all Nikon speakers to Celestion Greenbacks 25 watt speakers. It's the first time I'm doing Greenbacks In In the Room video and I'm really excited to hear the results for this test. I'm using a neumann Tlm 102 microphone over there

 A lot of people were into rectifiers and all that The 5150 was the when it came to Mel. But you know, the Jc M800 is really good sounding man and that's what Kerry used. You know, he had gates and to boost the amplifier. All right, let's bring back the duality Dx [Applause] So this top row right here is basically like basically like a tube screamer

You guys really enjoy my last post and thought you would enjoy the rest of the collection. I keep getting better with design and materials used over time and I'll be moving on to other cool items in the future. I'm working on a technics 1200 and wondering what else would you want to see as a pin?

 This has a low volume switch or a low power switch and you don't have to crank it in order to get the best tones out of it. This one sounds good. When it's dialed down a little bit, this is a great option. I think Marshall did a really good job with this thing

 But I can tell you it does sound really good when you turn it up. I have it ear splittingly loud in here right now and it's at about three out of ten. They really miss the opportunity to go to 11 here, but yeah, after about four, the amp doesn't really get any louder. That's where the power section really starts compressing and getting kind of like a squishy compressed feel
