 one of the neat things about the merge is that you don't have to be perfect about it because the lenses will move. So right now we have the app in there we could strap this onto our head and start playing. You know one of the hard things about doing reviews is that we can't show it to you in the 3d right? because the two different lenses here and it won't just come across on YouTube. But one of the cool things again start to talk about what separates emerge from some of the others is I can move both of these our selectors here

 This allows me to select something on the screen so I can. They can act as push buttons to select which is great. But the other thing I'm going to show you in the bottom here if you hold down I can actually move these and I'm moving the lenses. So let me come in here to show you this this way it's people have different vision different size faces so this allows me to move the lenses over to adjust it to my face

  So sadly I just don't see why this cost as much as it does. At fifty dollars this could be an impulse buy. At this price there appears to be other headsets on the market that will perform as good or better for less money. If you're just curious there are lower priced options to look at

I'm not sure if this is priced quite right...

 A lot of the older cardboard viewers that I played with in the past, you would just sort of move this back and forth away from your face until you kinda had everything in focus. but I would always feel like I was going a little cross-eyed like I was trying to look at a magic eye or something like that. and this really helps make sure that I've got it locked in exactly where I need it to make sure everything's crystal clear. and I really like this economy of design where the buttons that you use to manipulate the lenses to slide the lenses back and forth also double as the buttons that you use to control elements in the Google cardboard

 It's little bursts of 360 degree video where VR gameplay. It kind of makes sense just to hold this unit in your hands. You kind of move this strap out of the way. You can completely remove the elastic strap if you want just so that you can do that little wrist flip to move back and forth through the Google cardboard

 You throw on some headphones or you connect some Bluetooth headphones and you're completely sealed off from the rest of the world. And I Suppose that means we should talk about price as Merge VRS Priced this headset out at $99.99 penny short of $100 Now considering the state of Google cardboard headsets I Feel that that's probably appropriate pricing. A lot of the nicer, harder plastic cases are probably gonna run in that 30 to 50 dollar range

.. after all they boast a 1 year warranty on the product I've owned for 3 weeks. So the support email bounced back with an error message "The email account that you tried to reach does not exist" So I tried the other email listed on their website and received the same message

 I've also tried sending a message through their website directly and have no idea if that even went through. Fortunately Amazon allows returns up to 30 days so if I don't hear from them soon, I will be sending these back through Amazon.
