***EXTREMELY LONG RANT WARNING***  First things first: I am impressed by the AWESOME graphics of the console. Halo 5 without any updates runs and looks gaming PC good. I can't imagine how it will look with the enhancements update.  OK, now I'll mention what outweighs the great graphics: my Xbox One X is SLUGISH, and is as BUGGY and UNRESPONSIVE as a Windows PC

EVERYTHING THE GHOST BEHIND MICROSOFT TOUCHES GETS TAINTED

I'm in my mid thirties and have a 4 year old girl. I'm from the era where we felt Lucky if a game ran on your pc (CD bought off local bazaars). I always wanted a console for myself when I was the same age as my daughter, when I first played Mario and Contra at neighbours place, mostly watch them play for hours. I grew up playing/enjoying PC games like Moto, NFS2, NFSMW, CS, CoD, Battlefield, Assassin's creed, Hitman, PoP, GTA VC, GTA SA, Warcraft (only 3 months on paid server, played a couple of years on private servers before life got busy). I have had a soft spot for Kinect as I thought it would be wonderful to play with my daughter but disappointed it's discontinued. Now I have the ability to buy a console without my parents judging me (since they won't know lol) and I haven't replaced my laptop that now RIP (Lenovo IdeaPad). 

I am looking at the only available online option of the One x limited edition Cyberpunk bundle, which is enticing. I've never played on consoles before and always been a PC guy.

This is a huge investment for me and I hope some of you guys can help me not make a bad decision. Reasons why I am looking at purchasing the Xbox one X

1. Portability, I may go abroad later this year for work for a couple of years, main reason why I haven't invested in a PC. I will carry if I move.
2. Have a HD TV, Panasonic, not really keen on 4K capabilities now, for me HD is good for now. Can't buy a new TV. I recently invested in a great 5.1 Soundbar.
3. Research I've done shows Xbox one X handles Cyberpunk decently as of 1.10 which is the game that made me consider investing in a good rig and not on my CoD mobile passes and crates anymore
4. Need something less complicated than a keyboard so I can play with my 4 year old daughter
5. Not patient enough for Series S or X. I have waited too long, you know what I'm saying QQ, no stock
6. I need something that last me another 4 years, post that period I think I'll be relatively in a good place to invest in best gaming rig money can buy - PC or console

Sorry for the long post, I haven't been tech savvy/followed trends in last 5 years since life got busy. This is a big investment, I just want to have fun and play with my daughter, spend some me time on some  serious games.

Changed my mind get a Xbox series S and invest in a good laptop later when I can, to pickup what I missed in PS ecosystem. I appreciate all your views, I feel much more confident in my decision now.  Back out to start screen, game "slot 1" says corrupt file. Do some Internet research, solution seems to be do a system reset, preserving games. Reset game console, set it back up, load Doom, works great, looks awesome. Play for about an hour or so

I've owned a 4k Tv for almost two years now and prior to owning the Xbox One X I haven't had any devices capable of showing off 4k resolution. I have to say I wasn't expecting much of an upgrade from 1080p HD TV but wow the One X blew me away! The games that are enhanced have never looked better. Even PUBG was given the 4k treatment and it really makes the game stand out. Even if your playing a game that hasn't been visually enhanced for the One X it will still run the game better

 1000 gigabytes sounds like a lot of storage but when it comes to the One X nothing could be further from the truth. I own about 56 games altogether and so far I've installed 10 games on the One X and have already used about 57% of the consoles storage capacity. This is extremely irritating since I know it won't be long until I'm forced to buy another external hard drive to make up for the consoles lack of storage. The original Xbox One suffered from this issue as well

 The 4K output is crisp although the checkerboarding method used to achieve it leaves subtle artifacts just like on the PS4 Pro. Games will look good but, there is usually quite a bit of aliasing left. This means you will still get a slightly softer image overall when compared most games best settings in 4K. Not all games display in 4k and the games that do don't always stay in 4k

Will Cyberpunk work or not

 It's far too expensive, it's dated hardware, and it offers an older design that in the 2017's is prone to overheating failure, don't bring me back to that issues on the 360. No good. However, I would go for the Series S, 300 dollars for Next-gen stuff? Or 12 Teraflops on the Series X for 63 dollars less than "New" asking on here right now? No thanks.  So one day, I gave up after searching for long. Hard throughout more trusted distributors (i.e., Target, Best Buy, Even Gamestop), I eventually settled on Amazon of all places
