 It performs all the tasks very well again. Some could have been better if i had that leverage and the thumb on top of the blade like i usually do. The leather took a lot longer because of that too, this is all i had the leverage i had this a little bit easier and with a double edge you know. Sometimes you have to be careful with a double

 The blade is a little longer. So this is more comparable to the utx 85. However, this is what i prefer to carry. The utx 85 is a little bit too small

 So this you know caught my attention immediately: it's a brand new design from microtech and it's it's wider than the other otfs that i have owned, the utx 85 and the dirac, and that was always my number one kind of disappointment with the um. The the these other you a few that i've owned, which was that it was a little skinny in the handle for me, and it just didn't really feel like. I had a you know, a good grip on it and so um the hera caught my attention because it's wide it's kind of similar to the true dawn, and this actually, i think, might even be a hair wider than the true dawn and it's around the same Size and length, as the true dawn so um, pretty pretty interesting knife here and let's, let's go ahead and get the first deployment. Okay, yeah um, as a lot of other people have stated in in reviews this this switch is

 I really prefer a double edge. I feel like an otf is not an otf with a single edge. I know a lot of people get these knives and they use them as as edc knives, and they want that single edge so that they can actually, you know, put their thumb on it and cut stuff with it and use it as an edc knife. That'S that's! Not really what uh you know, the purpose of an otf is for me um, i i don't i i don't really dig the single edge on them, so i anytime i get an otf

 So you know, i feel, like my thumb, actually kind of fits down into that that stepped scalloped area and gives me really good traction on the button. So i really like that because it is a little wider and it feels pretty good man. This is ultra ultra light, as you would expect, because of the aluminum construction and uh yeah, wow um i'll get into a deeper review on this, but this is just a first and first impressions, type thing here and uh. I can't wait to you know, get to playing with this some more um when it comes to an otf
