 I have used it up completely for around maybe 2 months now and today I am going to share my experience of using this product, how it reacted to my skin and what to expect from this particular product.  There are some misconceptions about Alpha Arbitan that it helps lighten our skin. It doesn't do that. It will just act on your dark spots, but on the website on Minimalist website, when I go to their page, it is written that it will safely lighten skin tone, but it doesn't do that. It actually helps maintain your natural skin tone and remove tan from your skin, not lighten your skin

8. Minimalist Alpha Arbutin (Not pictured). This was probably my only meh experience with Minimalist, I mean it works, I posted a progress pic before (and got called a minimalist shill lol) but it didn't do what I wanted it to, It made my overall complexion fairer, but didn't get rid of my stubborn PIH, Tranexamic Acid worked way better for that, also this was pretty hard to apply, didn't spread easily. Might retry once more for my neck and underarms though

I have slowly started introducing the Minimalist Alpha Arbutin, and it seems to agree with my skin. The rest of my skincare routine is extremely minimal for now.

What is your favourite serum/essence that made a difference in your skin?

Minimalist Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA 1%: didn't seem to lighten my scars much in the span of 2 months but I guess I have to be patient. WNRP. I am thinking to move to Demelan after this finishes up. Minimalist AHA BHA PHA peel: Didn't experience any of the *mind blowing* clear skin after using this religiously

For tan: minimalist alpha arbutin. I actually bought it for reducing post acne marks,  but more than that it was helpful in reducing my tan.

Tips for staying in a humid/extremely sunny/tan prone location? (Kerala)

I tried minimalist alpha arbutin, salicylic acid, niacinamide 5%, niacinamide 10% , hyaluronic acid and lactic acid so 6 products in total , all of them broke me out horribly

I've been using the 5% Niacinamide + 1% HA for about three weeks now, and I've been breaking out like crazy. I have sensitive, combination skin and major concerns are fading acne scare, moisturization, and glow.

The serum broke me out in larger than normal (for me) pimples that are quite painful. I reduced my usage to one drop on damn skin and still didn't see a change. After going through this sub I can't decide if it's the Niacinamide, the HA, the aloe base, or the brand.

My current routine is cleanse with Cetaphil, tone with the plum green tea toner (just trying to finish it), and then moisturize with the Neutrogena Hydroboost gel. I switched back to the Neutrogena oil free combination skin mositurizer last week since it's fragrance free and my skin is quite irritated right now .

Does anyone have alternate Niacinamide suggestions? Preferably 5% or less because I can't tell if my skin can handle more. Similarly, I want to add a vitamin C serum but I'm feeling very skeptical about Minimalist now. Any suggestions are vv helpful. Thank you

Minimalist's 5% Niacinamide broke me out

The Derma Co is having a sale for the next 3 days where they are offering a buy one get one offer. 

Now I am actually eyeing to include alpha arbutin in my routine for my PIH. I have already purchased their Niacinamide serum as I am tight on budget and I am not able to find my HG Niamax d gel anywhere .

Now in this sale they are offering both the 30ml Niacinamide and Alpha Arbutin serum in 539 rupees only. 

I am still a student with no source of income . So it seems a very budget friendly offer for me. 

But is it really worth it to go for the offer ? I surfed through the sub and gathered a mixed review about derma co. No sufficient reviews are found on youtube too. So now I am really confused. Should I go with it , or I will buy the Vya Naturals Niacinamide and Minimalist's Alpha arbutin serum later  when I will be able to save enough pocket money . 

Please help me out guys with your precious suggestions.  Thanks in advance.
