Now let's look at the added vitamin c in this facial oil which is ascobal tetra isopulmitate and which is also referred to as VCIP. So this facial oil has ascobal tetra isopulmitate at a concentration of 3%

 So this facial oil has a super simple ingredient list with only two ingredients rosette seed oil and ascobal tetra isopulmitate. Now this ascobal tetra isopulmitate is a derivative of vitamin c and it's interesting. I have a lot to say about this derivative. Before that let's talk about the first ingredient which is cold pressed rosehip seed oil

It is a very lightweight facial oil which is very good for the skin. One thing I have to say please don't confuse rosehip seed oil with rose oil because they both are different

 So this is an oil soluble vitamin c form and because it is oil soluble it can penetrate the skin very well unlike the water soluble forms of vitamin c. It offers almost all the benefits of vitamin c on the skin namely reduction of dark spots antioxidant activity skin brightening etc. But at 3% I doubt if it will have much of a collagen stimulation effect on the skin. Overall VCIP is a very promising form of vitamin c and this facial oil is a very good treat for the skin

 Really, really works very, very well if you use the AC, especially. I highly, highly recommend that you use an oil. Plus, what I love about this is that for the quality that it comes with, it is priced phenomenally. I have never seen better pricing on an oil than this

Fellow dry skin ISCA members, so I need your help, I've been using Re'equil Ceramide Moisturiser for a while now and while it has been the best solution for my ultra dry skin I do need to lather on a lot twice a day and I wanted to upgrade so I asked around on instagram and the most common answer I got was Bioderma Atoderm Intensive Baume which is also a Ceramide based Moisturiser but 2.5x more expensive than Re'equil and for that kind of Money I wouldn't want a 20% increase in Moisturization strength.  


What did make sense to me was buying a more pure facial oil since moisturisers are mostly water, and combining a Rosehip or Squalene Oil with my Re'equil Moisturiser.   


Which one do you think would be more powerful? I'm also very intrigued by the VC-IP in Minimalist Rosehip Oil.

Am excited about this and their Niacinamide serum. Apart from the VC-IP and the Niacinamide there are other exciting antioxidants in them that makes these different that most in the market.

Re'equil launches new 20% VC-IP serum. Thoughts?

Minimalist Rosehip oil fycking ruined my skin. A month later, still trying to get rid of the closed comedones it gave me. Mind you, even vaseline petroleum jelly never did this to me.

I always mix it with my moisturiser on daytime and mask at night routine. I like the texture and the smell of rose hip besides the price is awesome. My skin type is dry.
