Yes, it can be totally disassembled, but the pieces aren't dishwasher safe, have similar amounts of small crevices that are tough to wash, and there is still a small powered humidifier unit that isn't washable, and has lots of little nooks and crannies that are difficult to clean. Overall not much more convenient or easy to clean than the Levoit models I've had previously.  I like the unit, and will continue to use it, but I won't buy another

It’s quite cumbersome with lots of parts and pretty large. Wish there was a smaller option. I like that you can clean every part but I wouldn’t say it’s easy to clean. And there are lots of little crevices you have to get into with a small brush

 It's not just that you have to buy the distilled water, it's that apparently since COVID there have been supply problems with distilled water, so it's not always easy to find. Took me about a week and a half before I found a store that had some (after checking multiple drug stores and grocery stores and having it not show up in Whole Foods delivery because it was out of stock.) And you need to wash this thing every few days and because of the floating design, that means that good bit of water is never used and thus thrown out.  But even still, I would have kept to use in our guest bedroom because it looks cute and does clean very nicely

 So the next day I bought a hygrometer. On low, the humidity in our room stays about 22%. On high, it can get to 24%. Keep in mind that ideal is above 30

  I contacted support, and this is actually an updated review based on what I learned. This device is actually more effective if you don't put it on full power — that makes the droplet problem worse. Run it at 50-75% of maximum, and it'll actually put more humidity into the air itself and less into puddles. But, then, it's really not very powerful

It's pretty — but not very effective

This is a good humidifier that looks nice, doesn't require purchasing filters, and is reasonably easy to clean (I use an old toothbrush and that works well). It has too many parts but that wasn't a problem because the unit is so nice and quiet and does work to keep my son's small room humidified.  But it just .

Disgustingly overpriced, broke in 15 months!

I wanted to like this humidifier but it’s just been too much hassle for what it’s worth. Would not recommend for the following reasons: - Keeps turning off for no reason - not sure if this is a defective unit, but the red light will go on even when there is plenty of water left. I switch it on and off repeatedly and sometimes it will finally stay on for more than 2 seconds. This is the #1 annoyance - Doesn’t seem to humidify the air, no measurable difference on my meter - however the surface under the humidifier is always damp - Many many pieces - technically all washable but there are still crevices that get pink from mold that I cannot get to, like the little unit that operates the fan-like motor
