I've always used notebooks to scribble thoughts in. I now have a stack which I would like to digitize before throwing out.

I don't need OCR or anything fancy. 99% of what I want is to occasionally look through them and reminisce.

Best ways to scan old notebooks?

 The thing is terribly inconvenient for it. This lens is a great example. Gotta get a case then put this lens on it, then buy a proper program to make it work and when you've done that, you get to dive into the video game like tapping of commands to make it work (zoom and focus are two separate things, requiring you to tap between them).  Strictly speaking, the lens is okay

I used VR Lens lab, and it was fantastic to be able to see clearly (I never wore my glasses in the headset as I was afraid to scratch the lenses).

Has anyone here tried the prescription lenses for the vive pro 2 from the VR optician? I've been using glasses with my headset which works fine for me, however do prescription lenses allow you to have a noticably wider FOV since you'd be able to have the screens closer to your eyes? And are there any other benefits of using them? Not sure if it would be worth getting them or not atm

I was super excited for this anamorphic lens from Moment, unfortunately it wasn't what I expected. I couldn't get what I wanted out of it.  When shooting at night I was looking for more exaggerated lens flare but that feature is mild with this lens. I also thought a filter attachment or accessory would be useful not really huge strikes against it, just a personal preference. My make or break issue is when shooting using a Beastcage phone mount I got some vignetting no matter what I tried.  I know some of my issues with this lens system are minor and sound nit picky but I only bring them up because for half the price ($75) I can get a "ULANZI 1

Here we go, another pixel love story, this time I'm trying to turn around some localisation work, its 2am, work servers down for some reason so I've got no access to the resources I need except a still image I handily took a few days prior, and I need to get this done so I can sleep and leave at 7am.

Now obviously I can't speak fucking chinese, but the Pixel 5 has that Google Lens, and I just pointed it at what I needed to know, and now I know it.

This phone keeps saving my ass... Google Lens is a lifesaver.

Awesome little lens. I gave it 3 stars for a lack of included directions how to mount it successfully. This is a critical flaw and easily correctable. That’s why I hope the good folks at Moment read this

  After about 2 more hours of painstaking research, I found a Moment video about an Allen wrench mounted to the micro fiber bag to adjust the angle of the lens before it’s mounted. There was ZERO mention of this in the directions. Why? That’s a big deal. This is NOT common knowledge

  When I first popped the lens on my iPhone XS, the lens cropped my wide angle camera. I searched and searched through the directions to see if I was mounting it wrong. I could find nothing, I following the included direction to a T. I was highly disappointed, pissed off and I reluctantly stated the return process

Here to agree with the other responses: GearVR Lens mod along with super sampling is a fantastic improvement. No god rays, massive clarity, and bigger view angle.

I have the tank of the OG vive strapped to my face but shit can be blurry, have to get super close to mirrors etc for it to be clear. I've fucked with IPD and the custom resolution scaling (which does seem to help) but can't seem to see much of a significant difference in clarity. I'm new to this so is there any setting I can push to increase the way I view things or is it just too old and shit (the headset, not me).

Any way to make the OG vive clearer?

My phone is an Iphone8 plus and I bought this lens for video. The box for the phone case was so nice but the lens box was damaged and it looked open before. And I checked the inside and I am not an expert so that I can't tell you the condition of the lens but it looks fine. I wanted to see how the video looks

 My phone is wrong? with the lens, everything looks longer vertically. Everything looks longer and not realistic. If this is good, I would buy the wide lens but I am not sure right now. I want to try the wide lens but I don't want to waste my time waiting and refunding

I don't know they care about the package or quality for the product

The 70-200 I want because there is just no substitute for having that kind of reach. Being able to create highly compressed portraits, for tight shots on stage performers, or very selective landscape or cityscape photos. I’m encouraged by the light weight of the latest Sony 70-200 and hopeful that it has optical quality and performance to match all of the hype surrounding it. 

The Sony 16-35 is awesome. Fantastic optical performance, fast and silent autofocus, professional build. I use it for everything (obviously) and being able to crop into 50 MP AND use the A1’s ASPC 35mm mode for 4k video means my effective focal range is more like 16-52mm for video and I love being able to utilize that feature to get slightly different perspectives when desired. 

So the 16-35 plus the Super 35 mode makes the 24-70 feel largely obsolete. I’m not going to swap lenses for 20 extra mm on the long end, and I’m unlikely to opt to carry around the 24-70 when the focal range from 16-24 is so useful for my needs.

The Canon 24-70 was just so versatile that I seldom felt like it wasn’t a great choice for any need I encountered when traveling or doing a photoshoot. It was a safe bet with great performance and pleasing results.

This appears to be a very nice lens, and when I hold it up to my iPhone, I can see that it works. But without Moment's case with their proprietary bayonet mount, that's all you can do - just hold it up to your phone.  I wish that had been more obvious when I ordered it. The case isn't even listed in the "Frequently Bought Together" section

  Also worth noting that this lens is $150. The case is $39. And the iOS Moment Pro Camera app is $6. So the price of admission to anamorphic bliss is actually more like $200 when all is said & done
