 Maybe. It's actually my favorite ported sub design in the size class. Things like that one and the intro scenes to Overlord were especially amusing to me because of how much air was being displaced by the sub. So much so that I could actually feel the breeze from the ports on my feet

 So who is this sub for? Well if you have a smaller to medium sized room and you want a high performance sub primarily for home theatre or gaming applications and you're okay with not having customizations and convenience features of the more expensive subs like the custom DSP, wireless control then I think you should certainly consider this sub. I was thoroughly impressed with how it performed and I'd say that not only does it punch above its price bracket but it also looks good doing it. Sound off in the comments and let me know your thoughts on this sub. Are you actually interested in getting one? Let me know

 In fact I also made a music demo which I'll be publishing very soon. That compares the performance of the sub in sealed versus ported mode so make sure to stay tuned for that one. But as far as actual sealed performance goes there was a definite improvement in the sound of the bass. It improved the musicality of it but I wouldn't say it was a degree to rival an actual sealed sub

But that said the low end that the mono 12 created was never distracting and still blended well with the soundstage

Koss 95X: My daily driver. They bring out details that other headphones in my collection couldn't. Also wonderful staging, very immersive sound. They do leak sound the most, however

Koss Porta Pro X: I use these when out and about as a beater pair. They're a little hyped up IMO. Way too bassy for my ears. But for the price, they can't be beat

AKG K712: Bass and mids are very similar to the HD600 but there is some peakiness in the lower treble that sometimes gets harsh for my ears, which is a shame since they're so damn comfortable.

New monitor gang. LG 34GN850-B. Worth every single penny

 But it's big and heavy. But to me a heavy sub means quality parts, which may not be true enlight if this sub's performance. I'm just disappointed that Monoprice was trying to stick it to me with this subwoofer, which I think was previously owned. They honestly tried to tell me that the quietness of this sub is by design

 This thing is huge... I bet the M-215s are a beast! I like the tank look of the subwoofer but you can tell they cut corners to make it cheaper

Very nice...  Next I suggest iso-acoustics if keeping on the table or regular speaker stands like Monoprice Monolith... 

I use the Monoprice Monolith 28" with my R3's, it raises the center image a little higher which seems more well placed.

Hey guys quick review I ended up getting the 10 in monolith from their website because I got it a little cheaper hands down the best subwoofer I've had I currently also own a SVS pc12 plus they are exactly the same. the same! I did not want to spend 1200 again but wanted one more sub great sub I would recommend buying the subwoofer isolation feet. as i did because the monolith shakes the house literally

Does anyone have any experience with electronic drums?  Currently using Sony MDR7506 which most google searches suggest as quality headphones for drums but I was hoping for something better that might also cancel out as much of the wood on plastic sound as possible (stick on cymbal).  No real price restrictions.  

Roland makes a specific headphone for drums (RH300V) but I've seen enough mixed reviews to make me hesitate.
