So this is the part of the review, where I'm supposed to say something negative or some constructive criticism on it, so that we can keep this review ...

My current setup is digitakt, digitone, Moog Grandmother, Mother 32, subharmonicon, and some fx pedals all ran into a 4 input audio interface that is then ran into an MPC One. It's a great little setup and I'm absolutely not capable of using it to it's fullest but I'm struggling with getting out of 4 bar loops. It just hard to visualize song structure with all the different gear having their own sequencing and tracks and whatnot. I can't get past having separate sequences as parts to a song.

The only reason I got rid of it was because my journey into modular and procurement of a Moog Grandmother *(and I generally don't own more than one synth by any given manufacturer)*. What makes the Minitaur great is that it is compact, yet almost knob-per-function and very intuitive to edit. It also has fantastic MIDI implementation and a great editor which unlocks a number of very useful under-the-hood features of the synth. The only other synth I kind of think competes with it in the price-range, in terms of flexibility and overall sound is the Pioneer Toraiz AS-1, which is a single Prophet-6 voice also with a fantastic editor, but also a sequencer and FX built in.
