 I think it's fairly priced. I like the handle more than I thought i would, but the blade is lower quality than some of my cheap knives. My son, though, was incensed when it picked up burrs on the blade during some simple carving of pine sticks and the point of the tip broke off when he tried to gouge a small hole in his carving. This is definitely not a bushcraft knife despite some of the reviews that call it just that

 Note, the tip of the carbon blade was barely finished, and had rough lines in it. My carbon knife now is just shy of a true mirror finish, razor sharp and it seems to be holding an edge alright. It just took me a couple hours of work to get it the way I want.  The stainless one is much thicker, noticeably heavier in hand, and in my opinion worse

It came pretty dull, but was easy for me to sharpen ...

I ordered two of these one for me and one for my girl. One came in a plastic sleeve with no box, which worried me at first but the knife seems to be new and in good condition. Overall it seems like a great knife especially for the money. Sturdy and comes shaving sharp

Swedish brand Morakniv has never been a particular favorite of mine. I’ve never been much for the fish cleaning look all of their knives remind me of. This is a much stouter blade than that, but it still has a cheap, plastic appearance that is very much off-putting, subjectively. That said, there’s no disputing that, for the money, Mora is hard to beat

 But for those wanting to ensure the grind angle isn’t altered even slightly, from shoulder to edge, some 3,000 grit or higher paper or stones will be needed to really see what this blade geometry is capable of, as well as to keep it there after use, along with subsequent stropping.  Updated to include pictures.

 I presume it was a combination of the extremely light weight and the edge geometry, as in each wood type I tried, I just couldn’t bury it deep enough to reach the straight upper spine.  But for slicing, a full scandi grind is fantastic! If you need a blade designed more for bushcraft, the heavy duty companion, which doesn’t cost that much more, might be more to your liking. The Mora Garberg is their most popular bushcraft blade. But it falls into a price range that has a lot more serious competition for your dollar from the likes of Kabar, Schrade, Gerber, RAT, and others

 The handle is lovely and ergonomic, with a non slip coating. The blade is just the right size for most outdoor activity and does not look threatening, especially in day glo orange! The sheath is functional and has no trace of pretension to it!!!  The knife surprisingly was not razor sharp..

 if your put off by the photos which imply a cheap construction well you got a surprise coming , the blades is shaving sharp .. extremely comfortable to hold and the size is just enough to clip to my belt and into my back pocket .
