 I would recommend it for definitely an intermediate expert park rider. But if you're kind of like that beginner jumping into like that intermediate, definitely a great board for that because of that rocker design. It's going to be great on the groomers for quick turns and a little bit more forgiving than a camber board. And it's going to be really playful as you get into more park and freestyle riding

 A lot of the Never Summers are pretty damp. The one thing though is it could use a little bit more stiffness if you're really trying to ride at speed through that stuff. So being that more rocker design, it's really quick edge to edge. That camber underfoot helps you kind of get that edge hold

help! trying to buy my fiancé a snowboard, shes very experienced, (video for reference even though she fell lol) she’s going to be 24 she’s 5’8 and size 8 boot. Loves to go fast down the mountain, and do the park runs. She used to be ski patrol, (snowboard)just trying to find the best brand/quality.

 I'm 6 foot tall and weigh about 155lbs or 70kg. The flex is right in between what the Funslinger and the Proto Type 2 was which is a good compromise. It's still soft and easy to move around, doesn't take much effort to press but is a bit more solid which means that the board ends up being way more capable on other terrain. Comparing it to the Funslinger the base has been upgraded to the better of the two main sintered options so the speed won't be an issue if you keep it waxed

 Hey, it's Lachie and here is a review of the Neversumma Proto Slinger. The Proto Slinger is a twin shaped, asymmetrical freestyle board with just under a medium flex rating and the shockwave rocker camber profile. A year or two ago Neversumma got rid of their Proto Type II and Fun Slinger boards which were both asymmetrical twins with the rip saw profile. The Proto Type II lost the asymmetrical sidecut, got the more aggressive shockwave profile and turned into the Proto Synthesis

 I was wearing size 9.5 Solomon Launchball boots which are medium flexing do everything boots. I'm 6 foot tall and weigh about 155lbs or 70kg. The flex is right in between what the Funslinger and the Proto Type 2 was which is a good compromise

 NeverSummer gives the Proto Slinger a 4 out of 10 for their flex riding and a 4 out of 10 on their damp riding. I currently ride a Salomon pulse 156  28 year old male about 65kg and 5 foot 8. (180cm) most of my riding will be in New Zealand

Any advice on board and bindings would be greatly appreciated.

Never Summer Prototype Two VS Never Summer Ripsaw

I bought an Arbor Bryan Iguchi Pro Board last month but was browsing through the Facebook marketplace around my area and saw this 2015 Burton Custom twin that I thought was sick. So I ended up buying it and while keeping my first ever never summer, I now own 3 boards 😅

How many snowboards do you own?

Finally looking to upgrade from my 15+ year old beginner board. Here's some context on me, where I ride, what I ride (style-wise).

Me: 6', 170 lbs, going into 3rd year of riding but comfortable hitting blacks on the hills I ride. Started riding boxes, rails, doing small jumps, doing tree runs, buttering, and doing flatland 180s last year.

Where I ride: currently midwest so mostly groomers. Snow in WI is usually hard-packed/icy, and never powder-like. Occasionally there's a nice layer of soft snow though. (So definitely not looking for a powder board, but a board that I can at least use on powder occasionally is a plus).

What I ride (style-wise): I've found I prefer playful runs with natural features, but also want to be able to do small jumps, rails, and boxes. I also really enjoy tree runs/off of the groomers, but have found my current board too long and stiff for comfortably maneuvering in tight/bumpy areas. Tree runs in the midwest tend to get packed down a bit. I ride switch 33% of the time hence the true twin, and I'd like a board I can butter with and also comfortably do 180s/360s at some point.

Boards I've looked at: Bataleon Evil Twin, GNU Riders Choice, Ride Twinpig, GNU Headspace, LibTech Box Knife, Capita DOA/Super DOA, Capita Asymulator. I know there were more I looked at last year but I can't remember them. Leaning towards the Bataleon.

Any insights/suggestions are highly appreciated!

Help choosing true twin all-mountain board

The answer is yes and now I need to buy one. I felt very stable for someone that is 6'1" and 180lbs but I could butter on it very well. It handled jumps like a champ and I slammed on the breaks no problem after bombing a hill. I HIGHLY recommend this board to anyone looking to be in the park, endlessly search for side hits, improve your butters and have more fun that anyone else on the mountain
