 Actually i don't know i've never done that and i wouldn't but um. I think for some people they actually could, because i don't remember my toe being like super close to the front, even though um besides the fact that there was a lot of width up here, a lot of space, it was a it's a um. This is a it's a comfortable shoe very comfortable now for the midsole. Well, you know i'll cut to the outsole first, because outsole on the midsole i got ta say i think the like the role that the outsole plays with the midsole is so i think it's so good

 It could bother some people because, like i said it is pretty um, it's pretty firm, but it's very padded. It'S comfortable it's just depending on the ear instep and how you know the size of your ankle. It could be a problem, but it wasn't for me um these overlays are are pretty comfortable. I feel like they give you a pretty secure lockdown

 Yeah. Look at that. It'S like it's soft and it's malleable so like when you're running it's okay, the outsole is soft and it's malleable, i'm getting somewhere up here. This is once again after 32 miles and it kind of freaked me out in the very beginning the wear, but once again you know after looking up the version, two um, i guess the wear is just a normal part for an outsole, this soft

 I took my time with the review of this shoe and um, because i wanted to get just a good understanding of what the shoe was.  At your pace and with your goal it is important to find a shoe which you feel comfortable with.  You suggested the Clifton 8 - a good shoe, however I would opt for the Rincon 3 by Hoka. They're lighter but still heavenly cushioned. The Clifton 8 is somewhat controversial (fit, feel)

Forget the Speed, the RC Elite, or any other "speedy" shoe (eg. carbon plated). At your pace and with your goal it is important to find a shoe which you feel comfortable with.  You suggested the Clifton 8 - a good shoe, however I would opt for the Rincon 3 by Hoka

I've been running for a while now. I did my first 10k last year and have signed up for my first half-marathon in end November in Seattle. I am a female and run about 20 miles a week(4-5 days a week). I've been researching about marathon shoes, ones which I could use as a daily trainer and for race day. As this is my first half-marathon, goal is to finish the run. 

I've been eyeing the Hoka clifton 8, what would you guys suggest?

First half-marathon shoe, suggestions please ?

 These New Balance are super light weight, thin and very breathable. I have a supinated foot landing and am a toe striker and I noticed after a few miles my feet moving around in the shoe. I’m guessing it’s because of how thin and light the material is that it started stretching the material. But other than that these shoes are good for the right person

There are so many shoes on the market, different versions, targeted at different types of runners that I am completely lost. In my country (Europe) all stores are closed due to the pandemic so I must order online. 

I am searching for a daily trainer which I can use for all my runs. I think that the Nike Pegasus is a famous example of the type of shoe I want. However, I do not want to limit myself to Nike, so maybe you can give me additional options. 

Some facts to narrow the search:  
\- neutral pronation  
\- for daily runs (easy and longer runs, 5 - 15k)  
\- started running this year  
\- 5k @ \~23:00

I would prefer not to spend too much on the shoes, maybe around 120€.

Daily running shoe for the average runner

I feel like I'm narrowing in on what I need out of a shoe and would love some help/guidance if possible.

I quite like my current Reebok FFE2's, but I much prefer a lower drop like 6mm, and I need something with a softer ride as I'm rehabbing patellar tendonitis. 

Sounds like my old shoe, the NB Beacon V2 would just about fit the bill, but I have an issue with that. I overpronate a bit, and while I don't like stability shoes, I feel like shoes with narrow platforms at the midfoot make it worse than it needs to be. I think maybe the lack of outsole contributes to that problem too.
