Nullbits Nibble Build Stream (BOX Royals)

  I bought a few of these boards because I love the layout and it's a passion project from the owner. I was super careful with my first board and I was able to ruin it, getting support directly from the owner was awesome. He can only point out things I can try, a lot it requires a digital multi-meter and understanding schematics of the PCB and pinouts of the MCU, IC, and the diodes.  I would personally pick up a few IoT soldering kits to practice on first and maybe a cheapo keyboard to practice desoldering on

 If you ever need assistance at any step of building this whether it be hardware or software, they have you covered.  Overall I am very pleased with my experience building the board. The creation of this kit is executed so well that I just want to buy more kits, which brings me to say that I cant wait for more kits like this!

  -Various layouts for your custom needs including ISO and many custom bottom rows for split space and more -Customization of accessories including the OLED, RGB LEDs as well as the rotary encoder -All together there is so much flexibility within this board which is what I admire the most  Other aspects to take note on:  -Well printed PCB -Really nice feeling flexible plate, I have tried aluminum and brass plates but I have to say that FR4 sounds and feels the best -Very detailed instructions and PCB labels  On last note I want to address is the support they offer. Nullbits support is top tier no doubt. If you ever need assistance at any step of building this whether it be hardware or software, they have you covered.  Overall I am very pleased with my experience building the board

Fun 65% DIY Project

Overall the best part of this keyboard is how damn good it looks. I brought it to work this week and everyone kept complimenting it all week lol. How good it looks makes me happy with the purchase overall.  The typing experience isn't as fantastic but it is still good

  Finally, lets say something about the customer service from Nullbits. It's outstanding and the owner is always willing to go the extra mile for their customers. So if you like supporting good small businesses, this is absolutely a company worth supporting.

Assembling this kit took me quite a bit of time due to me opting to add hot-swap sockets (and being a bit rusty with surface mount component soldering), but the result was worth it and the keyboard looks and feels great. I made a custom layout with QMK from github and so far I had zero issues with it. Considering getting one in black as well now.
