New Releases Thread 5/3 - 5/9

 So Aman Mene's founder, James Witter. He was inspired by his childhood story where the Air Jordan 3 was the very first shoe that his mom ever bought him and his brothers. So that's why they opted for a collaboration on the Jordan 3 model and that's why it's a release meant for women. So so far they've had two initial drops of this shoe

[music] What's up Youtube? It's Shawn here and I'm super excited to give you guys my review of the Ama Menuet collaboration with Jordan Brand on the Air Jordan 3 Retro sp and the Raised by Women colorway. This is arguably one of the top releases of 2021 and it's a shoe inspired by women and technically made for women as well. So this is a women's release, but fortunately they're releasing in bigger sizes as well. So safe to say, unless you have really, really massive feet, most people should be able to grab this pair in their size

 The first round was a women's only raffle and then the second round was an online general raffle and they're set for an online drop on their website on April 28th. This pair is set for a price of 200 Us dollars, which translates to about 250 Canadian and the official colorway for this shoe is white, medium gray, and violet ore. So first off, here's a quick look at the box and the box is a special edition box made just for this release. It comes with this translucent sleeve and we have this a logo found throughout and then taking off this cover, you'll see that the box is special as well

 You'll notice though that the edges of the leather when you take a look at it from the side, it sort of has like a reddish tint to it and then surrounding the front edge of the toe box. Instead of your signature elephant print, they've replaced it with this really fuzzy gray colored suede moving downwards. The eyelets of the shoe have this yellow tint to it which adds to the whole vintage aesthetic of the sneaker and in the middle. Again, instead of elephant print here we have more of that gray suede moving downwards we have more of this tumbled white leather and then surrounding the bottom wrapping around the back heel we have more of that gray suede
