 The last style here is specialty mode, and that's going to be for something like a cappuccino or espresso or something like that. And as you can see, if you're set to specialty, you are limited to four ounces. So really it's going to be a super strong shot. That makes a lot of sense because if you're brewing a cappuccino, you need that coffee to be really strong so it doesn't get overtaken by the milk

 Hey everybody, it's Joe and welcome back. Today we're going to be reviewing the Ninja Dual Brew Pro Specialty Coffee System. So you ready? Let's get into this. Just to make you aware, before we get started, this review is based on my personal opinion and therefore all my praises and gripes are going to be based upon what I personally feel is important

 There's the K-cup mode, and we have a switch here on the side that'll turn it to hot water mode. When that's turned on, we get the hot water indicator here. And you'll notice we got two water temperatures, either boil or hot. This you can just pour hot water in for like a hot cocoa or something like that

 Down here you have a self-clean mode, and then up here you can see that it's in K-cup mode. There's three different modes actually. There's the K-cup mode, and we have a switch here on the side that'll turn it to hot water mode. When that's turned on, we get the hot water indicator here

Great idea for a coffee maker

 I drink coffee throughout the day and this machine right here, go ahead and spoil it for you. I am going to be reviewing this thing and giving you my honest opinion. My opinion of this machine is a pretty good one. I have been using this for about a month or two and I am going to give you the facts, the specs of this and tell you my opinion on why this may be the best coffee maker

 And then once you make this you set what size you want. Very easy, very quick and you can make a pot of coffee change from the K-cup to a pot in just a few seconds. One of my favorite design points of this whole entire thing is there is an open and a closed option. You know you want that first sip of coffee but you're not ready for the pot to be completely done

 Actually you can set this on the dial to do that. So on the digital pad itself we are going to run through some of the mechanics and the machine itself and run through how to make a cup of coffee. So you have this button in the center, that's how you start the brew. You just press that button and it starts the coffee

 It helps me out a ton. It is going to help my channel grow and it is going to help me out a lot. Alright, let's get right into it. So starting out looking at the coffee maker directly, you have a sleek, elegant black chrome mixture look

 This one we end up with 173. Let's do the hot cold coffee maker. We end up with the hottest 176, 177. Let's do the pro, dual brew pro

 On the left here I've got the Ninja 10 cup specialty coffee maker model number CM401. Here I've got the Ninja hot and cold brew system model number CP301. Here I've got one of their latest and greatest Ninja Dual Brew Pro model number CFP301. And here's their latest one also, the Ninja Dual Brew coffee maker model number CFP201

 OK, so let's get some temperatures. OK, so the temperature coming out of the cold hot cold brewer is 196. The water coming out of the specialty brewer is one. I have seen 200, 197

 I had the same temperature coming out when I did the cake up. This is cooled off a little bit, but I ended up with about a 165 cup of coffee in the cake up. And this one's about sticking right around 198, 200. So these two are right around 200

Reusable k pod ?

 So, my general verdict is, this Ninja coffee maker is very nice - definitely the best that I owned so far. It's not cheap, but I think for me it will worth it over time, if it proves to be durable.

 But so far this happened on 1 of the 10 k-cups I used, and the amount of ground in the coffee was very small, so this is not a deal breaker. I remember this happened from time to time with our old original Keurig machine that we had several years ago, we could live with this. So, my general verdict is, this Ninja coffee maker is very nice - definitely the best that I owned so far. It's not cheap, but I think for me it will worth it over time, if it proves to be durable

 The machine itself has stickers that explain how to slide the covers to do what you want, so this is simple and after you used it couple of times, seems quite logical. Also, the user interface is also quite logical, and the machine detects how it it configured (if the k-cup adapter is installed or not) and lights up only controls that are relevant for the current configuration - this is quite intuitive. The resulting coffee tastes good - I compared brewing the same amount of the same coffee the coffee in my hairo v-60 pourover and in this machine, it tastes similar, although the Ninja machine uses twice less time to brew, (around 2 min vs 4-5 min, in pourover), which can explain the slightly weaker coffee form Ninja machine - you probably could use more coffee grounds to make it stronger. At least, the machine does the initial 'bloom' of the coffee

 The resulting coffee tastes good - I compared brewing the same amount of the same coffee the coffee in my hairo v-60 pourover and in this machine, it tastes similar, although the Ninja machine uses twice less time to brew, (around 2 min vs 4-5 min, in pourover), which can explain the slightly weaker coffee form Ninja machine - you probably could use more coffee grounds to make it stronger. As you listen for it to work, there is a distinct phase at the beginning of it gurgling and dispersing initial small amount of hot water to the coffee, then it stops and waits for some time, comparable to what I do to bloom coffee grounds in the pourover, so this is good. The machine also has a milk froster on the side that I have not yet tried to use, but I'm sure I will get to it sometime soon
