 So that's the one that i usually do for like a cappuccino, so i talked about the intelligent warming plate that automatically turns on during the half carafe or a full craft size of classic or rich blue. You can also hit that stay warm button to shut the warmer off as well. Usually what we do when we're done. We just we just shut the power off to it

 So that's what i'm doing today. So let me head over and show you all the functions this has. I want to first start this video by saying this is not a paid review. This is not a sponsored video

 So let me show you how to do the specialty, and i want you to be able to hear this as well, because the way that this goes through the brewing cycle at first, when you get it you're, going to think something's wrong with it, because it does Start a little bit loud and then it will just kind of trickle and it's kind of stops right at the beginning. You think something's wrong, but it's just part of the way that the brewing works and then it'll continue on after i'm gon na put my paper liner right down in there, so i'm actually gon na make a cappuccino. So i am going to put a half a cup of unsweetened, vanilla, almond milk in my cup and i'm going to stick that in the microwave for about a minute. Okay, now i'm going to measure out my coffee, so i'm using my good old dunkin coffee and for the specialty

 Do four ounces. It'S gon na take the light off of all of those. 2. If you are not standing by for your first cup right when it's brewed, then you need to microwave it to warm it up. (maybe in warmer climates this isn't as much of a problem as it is in colder areas. I'm positive we could attribute this issue to the ambient temperature

5. if you are like me and enjoy fresh ground beans, then you will need to grind this to a fine grain- (for coffee lovers, I have found it works best with Lavazza perfecto coffee - so if you can ground your beans to this style then you won't have any weird brewing issues.)

 (maybe in warmer climates this isn't as much of a problem as it is in colder areas. I'm positive we could attribute this issue to the ambient temperature.)

I really want to love it

 They wanted to come up and the price isn't too bad as well. It'S around the same price as keurig, and i like the fact that we'll be drinking better coffee uh for a little bit less price as well. So you know that's nice. We usually we're getting like super cheap k-cups, because we don't want to spend be spending like 80 cents or so to be able to drink the better coffee, because that can't add up when you drink a lot of coffee like we do we're not real big on Iced coffee and specialty drinks, but i do like that option on there might be something that we will uh

 This is used when making the individual cup of coffee here you'll see your dial, where you're going to select, which size you're making, let's set it to a regular sized cup and then you'll push either classic or rich, depending on what you prefer at this point. It'Ll start brewing it'll take about three minutes to brew a cup. Now, something i noticed right away is using the screen filter uh. It makes it a little bit stronger and you get a little bit of thickness down on the bottom of your cup

 We will turn the dial to full cup, got half cut to full cup. There you go and then you press, your classic or rich and the little keep warm light will go on and you can set that by holding it down and you can tell it how long you want to keep the hot plate on and then next time you Press it it'll flash low, you can set it to high or low for the temperature setting of the plate and once you let go it'll start brewing your pot, the little red light on the front of the plate there. That just means that the heating plate is still hot, all right now for making specialty drinks and using the milk brother, you will take whatever amount of milk. You want to use microwave it for about 30 45 seconds or you can do it cold, and then you will put it in the frother and turn it on with a button on top

 Fortunately, you can use paper filters instead, just uses the number four cone filters. You just remove the screen filter and then you just put your paper filter in instead and then add whatever coffee you want for making a full pot of coffee we're going to use the large side of the spoon, and it says four to six spoonfuls. I use four more than that. I think it's too strong, but that's just me now: i'm brewing a full cup of coffee

The coffee doesn't taste any better than any other coffee maker.  It actually tasted worse for the first few days until I realized that the 1/2 carafe was watering down my coffee by adding 7 more ounces of water than what I expected.  I am still deciding if I can put up with these unnecessary deficiencies.  This one may be going back soon

Ninja thinks they're smarter than we are...

 Let'S go up here and see how the coffee did so there's the coffee grounds. It got a little high in the filter basket, not too bad, but cleanup is very easy. You'Re. Just going to lift this up and take this over, you can recycle those coffee grounds or dump those in the trash can, but so clean up is very simple

 That'S going to stay on to let you know that that warming plate is on it'll shut, the warming plate off automatically from zero to four hours, and you can vary that time. The default is two hours, but you can change how long that warming plate stays on, but you can also turn the warming plate off and here's a nice feature that many coffee makers don't have so say it turns off on you automatically. But you want to warm that coffee back up. You can turn the warming plate on without doing a brew

 It will turn that light on for a second or two: that's okay, because there's just a temp sensor in there that when the plate gets hot, it turns that little light on. But the coffee maker is not turning the warming plate on. So it's not gon na melt the ice by having the warming plate on that's a very nice feature of this coffee maker, okay, so it brewed for about 15 seconds, and now it's stopped. The coffee maker gets really quiet

 Okay, so i'm gon na do a half a pot, five cups. So i'm gon na put four four of these big ones in there's where the coffee goes so you'll get you'll, get used to making sure this drip. Stop is open. If you leave it closed, it's going to beep at you to let you know

Great coffee; love the features , but doesn’t last

 We'Ve got our classic brew a rich through over, I screw a specialty for on its brew. Cafe 48 ounce brew, we've got our clean button and we've got a stay, warm button, a delay brew and we've got our clock here. We'Ve got our on/off button. Alright, for our systems been cleaned out, we're ready to go here

 So we're going to go ahead and place that the bottom here and we're going to go ahead and put five scoops of coffee ground in here and we'll be using the small scoop all right and we're going to go ahead and close this up. And we will select the extra-large tumblers here. You'Ve got a nice dial to select two different sizes and we will be selecting the classic bird type. So we're going to go ahead and select this and let this go alright

 We'Ve got our extra-large tumbler that came with the unit. We went ahead and put some ice in here quarter: cup of milk and a little bit of caramel sauce. So we're going to go ahead and place that the bottom here and we're going to go ahead and put five scoops of coffee ground in here and we'll be using the small scoop all right and we're going to go ahead and close this up. And we will select the extra-large tumblers here
