 It also has our Ballistic Impact Panels which are sheets of Kevlar just to do around the bindings or insert packs here and here and that's going to add to durability of the board and it's going to reduce any kind of binding line breakage. The Volcom Beast has our Rail Killer Edges which are edges that are twice as thick and twice as strong as your standard edge allowing you to really put a beading on it in the park day after day. Edges are bigger than normal edges the teeth that go into the base are bigger than normal edges so it's just more durable and the stronger edge material especially with our new Euro Shred Sidewalls which are urethane sidewalls a more durable material on the sidewall so it can handle a beading more and be a better freestyle snowboard that's going to last longer with you. The Beast uses our Sintered Speed Formula 2 Base which is the fastest most durable base that we make, holds wax really good and this beautiful Nitro Volcom Collab Base is going to keep you hauling all over the mountain

 The Volcom Beast has a twin shape, has true camber, camber from contact point to contact point giving you that snap response underfoot you need for freestyle snowboarding. Also comes in standard width with one exception our 157 centimeter long snowboard is a mid-wide so it's available for people with a little bigger foot if they're looking for the board check out the 157 model of this in a mid-wide width. As our Parkflex it also has a radial sidecut which is a sidecut that's super progressive friendly from contact point to contact point you have one nice radius it's the most widely used sidecut profile because it's just something that works not too aggressive but you can hold an edge and you can also do easily do tricks initiate tricks with it. Post Your 22/23 Season Gear Setup

 I, like most of you mere mortals, cannot butter and flex this board like Marcus Cleveland, but then again, I don't really want to. With that said, you have to put all your weight out in the nose or the tail to get this to butter, and it's going to fight you. It's going to rebound, so be prepared to work for it, and the same can be said with jibbing. This is basically a high-end slope style board, so either keep your tricks pretty stock or know what the hell you're doing

 I rode this board at Copper Mountain on a day that was overcast with little pockets of blue coming through, some snow falling, there was a little bit of snow on the runs, there was perfect corduroy, slightly dusted corduroy, chunder, and ice, and I rode it with my Rome Black Label bindings and my K2 Thraxis boots. This is a high-end twin parkboard, so the overall flex is on the stiffer side. You do have ever so slightly softer tips, and then that mid section is stiffer with a little bit of torsional flex to it. This board is very stable

 So you're going to get load, snap, pop, and drive from this board. This board is available in 151, 155, 157 mid-wide, and 158.  You just want to make sure that you bring your A-game when you are steering it more aggressively. Who's this board for? The high end park rider that likes the big features. I mean the big features. This board isn't going to be for everyone, but if you're one of those high end, hard charging, want a stiffer twin with true camber, go for it
